"What?" Alrenion looked at the counsel before him. He stood alone in what looked like an arena, but he would not be forced to fight any other dragon or beast. Just his own shame. "We have concluded," the plague leader said, their tone more annoyed. "That you will be exiled." Usually they had this relaxed, calm tone in their voice, almost singsongy. As thats what they believed plague had to be. To tend to the sick ones so they gain the immunity, the strenght. This sect believed in the contrary of what is expected of the flights. "But it was HOLY!" Alrenion called out, all his eyes focusing on the counsel. "I did it for Plaguebringer! I did it for US!" "No, no you didn't," the Plague member replied, a sigh heard through their reply. "He might have been a contrary member, yes. He might have been annoying, yes. He might have stood against me and the others, yes... But it was not in your right to maul him." It was, he thought. Its my goddess given job, he believed. There couldn't be any other way he was born like this, this powerful. Her mark was on his very face, gazing at the leaders. His body had the scripture dancing on his skin, in the calligraphy of the wastelands. How could they not see that his deed is holy? His deed is just? "You have failed everyone," the plague leader continues. "You have failed your kin, your believers... and your mother." Alrenion snapped his head to her, and guilt did pang him. There she was, her shimmering, dark hide shining even in the darkness. But her tears where what shimmered the most as they trinkled down her face and onto the ground. But how could she not see his reason? She was his mother, she was supposed to know whats going on in his head! But even she seemed disgusted by his deed he deemed so holy. "You can never return, Alrenion. You are no more allowed to even speak with anyone from this communion." That stung deeply. Why should he care if they did not see his holy act? They were the heathens, they were the sinners, going against what the Plaguebringer herself is telling him, what she created him for. Yethere he was put in the hole, infront of people above him, banishing him from the only place he ever knew. To the wound with them. He will find a way. "What?" Alrenion turned to the blue imperial, his green eyes glaring at the many of the saint. Falloni's scales shimmered in the candlelight Alrenion set up for himself, the insence burning right beside him. He managed to get a tent in this clan he took over. "I want you to get out of here, I don't want you in my clan." Falloni's false politeness has dropped completely since he made his stay in Clan BlueClaw. He and his sister seemed immune to the goblet, much to Al's dismay. "You set your little bum just into my place, wave that little cup around and Oh! Suddenly everyone bends to your will," he states, pointing his claw accusingly at the mirror. "I thought I was just not getting it, maybe you're just weirdly likable, but no! When you want someone to do something, you wave that little cup." Alrenion was doing that. In fact, he was slowly tilting it around alread, watching as the golden liquid started to fill up. Falloni had more to say. "Then, you made some Gaoler from the light flight crawl over, looking half-dead, and just today an Abberation... from the earth flight." He scoffs a bit, but looks behind himself to look at the two weird guards... or three, if its two dragons in one Abberation? "You wouldn't understand my goals, Nature-" Falloni quickly cut him off with a whistle. "Listen up, I grew up here. These blisters arent for show. Have you never heard of abandoned eggs? At most I would say a little, coddled mutt like you doesn't understand how things work around here." Alrenion stopped swirling the cup as he slowlyy turned his head to the blue dragon. He was met with Falloni crossing his arms angrily. "Nono, go on. Tell me how you know better." Without breaking eye contact, Alrenion continued filling the cup. "While you may know the environment better, you do not have the ability to listen to the turth of this land." Falloni tilted his head, and Alrenion could see his sister, Jorna, another mirror. "You will never be able to listen to her call or work for her," he continued, finally having filled the cup with that shimmering liquid. "Neither would she ever accept you as one of hers." He takes a sip- but reches at the taste. Falloni snorted at that, Jorna having let out a loud laugh at that. Of course. This is what keeps braking his stature. This liquid, what might even be the source of his influence, tasted horrible. It was salty and bitter, tasted worse than any half, rotten carcass that he found and had to manage with in his lonely journeys. He glares at the two, Falloni now snorting as he barely hides his laughter. Out of spite, Alrenion chugged the whole liquid in one, loud gulp, growling as he feels the power, as disgusting as it is, coursing through him. Falloni's smirk faded as he heard the previously mentioned guard shift. Icer, the Galoer, charged right into his back, gaining a loud scream. Jorna called out to their friend, Maya, but with the other strength he got the Abberation, GorroKerra to charge at her. Alrenion himself quickly jumped away from the action, gladly watching the struggle. This is what is supposed to happen. This is what was supposed to happen to those who denied him, those who did not believe him. But even this small hint of triumph gets taken away. Maya, the friend Jorna called over, dashed in, throwing the Abberation away with a rather horrifying amount of force. Their attention turned to Falloni, who is trying to keep Icer off of him. Alrenion charges a Plague breath, breathing in deep, but the women yanked the Imperial out of Icer's grip, pushing the Gaoler into the Saints breath. This chaos allowed them to escape and fly off, Alrenion lightly trailing behind. He watched them dissappear into the red sky, flying off with his pride. Oh, he will get back at them. |
