Sometimes I let him ride on my back when I'm swimming, but I don't do it often because Neikr said he might fall off, and I don't want him to fall off!!! So he has his own tank in the ship's quarters with leaves and rocks and water! I can't watch him while he's in there, but Elderyth and the rest of the crew take really good care of him, so I'm ok with it. "He's mostly either in his tank or with me, but I've caught him a few times hanging onto Vatrel, eheh! The frog seems to like Vatrel a lot, but I don't think Rel likes him. You should hear him scream, I didn't know even a skydancer could reach a pitch that high!"

I have to use my own imagination to create them, and when I was first learning, I was younger and had a much more active imagination. I lost control frequently and startled myself by making objects appear too big or bright. Not to mention, my mentor didn't quite understand how my magic worked, since hers deals with [i]actually[/i] changing things. I had to teach myself how to master it, and it still surprises me sometimes. For example, there is a dragon who came to me for exposure therapy. I won't give her name, for her protection. She has some sort of magic of her own, that allows her to go unnoticed when she chooses, which might be why this happened. One session we had was particularly grueling, and by the time we were done the sun was beginning to rise. In spite of that, I felt we had made good progress. I ended the illusion, and she vanished! Apparently she had left hours earlier, and I didn't notice because my own illusion kept her in place! When I told her about it later she just rolled her eyes at me. [/color][/columns]
