"He will be fine...he is with the Fallen now."

He continued searching for clues.

She gasped and spun around to face Talva.
"Tavla! I have completely neglected to thank you for restoring me to life, wholly and fully. You have my deepest gratitude."
Spica dipped her head gratefully.
"Now a dragoness with your magical ability is certainly some force to reckon with. Is there any way to interrogate a dragon without having them killed?"

So long she had forced herself to become flame-retardant to the burning eyes of others... ...but she was tired. Adena was so tired... So it was time to ignite. A shrill laugh erupted from Adena's mouth as her fearful expression snapped into a face of malice. "God! You're all....SO.... EASY!" She drew out her words long an exaggerated before cackling again. Countering her hilarious tone were dark black tears that began to stream down her cheeks as her laughing became hoarse. The coatl gripped the wall behind her as if she was losing her balance. "It took you this long to figure it out... I might as well have just painted my own name with your friend's blood to help you figure this out sooner..." Raspy wheezing served as filler between her statements. "I don't care if you kill me anymore, as a matter of fact, I [i]beg[/i] you!" Adena giggled for a bit as she wiped dark tears from her eyes. "And you should be thanking me for taking care of your little friend over there..." The coatl motioned towards Cosmos body as her attempt to wipe her tears proved effortless and more dripped from her eyes. "H-He would not have liked to live through the insanity he was being pulled into..." Adena's eyes looked dead but she smiled still as she looked at her palms. "Oh... Calida... my poor, pathetic sister..." The crooked smile that dawned the coatl's face faltered after saying her sister's name. "Sh-She had no idea what was coming for her... by no means did she expect her younger sister to be the one to slaughter her..." Adena gripped her cheeks with her claws, digging into her own skin, mixing dark red trails of blood with her murky black tears. "I couldn't bear to imagine her suffer the great, shadowy end of which my existence was helping to cause..." It suddenly became more clear that the coatl wasn't laughing anymore. "So, oh, will my death make hers in vain? Or will it be justified?" Adena held her face in her palms as she sobbed in the corner she'd put herself in. "Wh-What?" she whispered, slowly turned around to face the coatl.
"You really did kill them?" she fell silent and listened until the end of the rant.
As Adena scarred her own face, Spica grimaced and looked away, choking back a gag.
"I can't believe this, I just-" she faced back towards Talva.
"Adena's violence has to end. I too vote for her." She squeezed her eyes shut as tight as she could.
I can't believe I was about to try and negotiate for her life.
With a twitch of her tail, Spica blinked her eyes back open and walked away to her room.
