She sat up after a moment, rubbing her eyes and looking about. Behind her, the group of dragons that had been excitedly conjugating, waiting for her to continue their search for the lost notes turned toward her. A couple of them offered her a paws up, helping her to her feet. The little Goblin smiled and thanked them, before continuing forward, leading the group of brave detectives. She could feel it in her bones - they were getting close, so close she could almost smell Baesprite’s unique scent. Wait a minute - Baesprite! Rose hopped excitedly to the top of the hill the group were cresting and peered down. There, amongst a group of dragons was none other than Baesprite! Rose let out a happy yell and rolled, skidded, thudded, ran down the hill. Rose knocked her off her feet and to the side in a happy tackle. “Baesprite! We found you!” Behind her, the dragons all began cheering, some not sure why but excited nonetheless. Baesprite lifted her head, blinking, “You’ve been looking for me? Whatever for?” As Rose collected herself, she sat back, looking over Baesprite, “Because I haven’t heard from you in a long time. You said you were going to go hunting for the darn missing notes and then took off. I couldn’t find you anywhere and I didn’t hear from you, so I decided to go looking for you instead. All of these dragons were kind enough to help me out.” Gesturing behind her, Rose indicated the massive amount of dragons that had come to help. Baesprite blinked, looking at her, then began to laugh, sitting back and holding her stomach. After a moment, during which Rose frowned and exchanged glances with the dragons around her, Baesprite finally got her laughter under control. She stood, helping Rose up and dusting them both off before crossing her arms, “Officer Sprinkles, you have done an extraordinary job. The entire purpose of this was to see if you could actually go by the book for a case. Congratulations, you passed! And we got Dad’s notes back!” [/columns] [columns] What Baesprite failed to notice in her long speech was the furious look that crossed over Rose’s face. If the Goblin hadn’t already been pink, by now, she’d have been pink! The Goblin let out a yell, “You mean this entire thing was a test!? I was so worried about you for nothing!” Baesprite turned to look at her, grinning mischievously, “Well, not for nothing! Look, we have new recruits for Dad’s exper- I mean to help Dad, and you got to lead an entire investigation, and uh… Oh! And we found Dad’s notes! That’s something, right?” Grumbling, Rose crossed her arms, glaring at her best friend, “Yeah, I guess so. Come on, let’s go home. Maybe we can get by Morfy without waking him up this time.” Baesprite grinned, “Morpheus will definitely sleep through it….” Her grin faltered a bit, “I think… Anyway, Penelope is waiting to get these back!” Holding up the notes, the Sprite turned, grinning at the beings around her, “Let’s take these to Penny and go home!” Rose laughed, though quickly covered it up, thinking of the Starbear and Scholar that waited for them at home, guarding their father’s work. She missed them terribly, especially Morpheus’ loud snores, and Penny’s loud exclamations to not call her Penny. And of course, the frequent booms just made life perfect. I haven't been able to send any dragons to the PB last week, unfortunately, but I've been following the mystery and it was tremendous fun to look for the badges! And the story and art are absolutely adorable (also I think I might have a crush on Rose). Thank you so much for your hard work, this really brightened up my week!

@SkyesBride Arcane flight truly has the deepest lore. (I named my arcane sprites Crepuscula and Maleficia, along with Toxine the plague sprite, and enchanting goblin, Nilbog.)

Oh my goodness you guys, this whole thing was so cute!! I didn't get to send dragons, but I had a great time following the clues (when I could remember to!) You guys had such a fun theme and I really loved the story to go along with it. Also, the designs for Baesprite and Rose are so cute--- I hope they are happy and very very good friends forever--
