Find a Dragon

To everyone so far! Thank you so much for the support I've received on this project so far! It's been really heartwarming to see pings placed on various auctions and sales from people who think that a dragon fits! I could have never imagined the help and support I'm already receiving…so for that thank you :3


@Rangiku Same here for me :3 Jurassic Park was the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm an artist in a non-artistic family, which has it's challenges…yeah…let's say that XD. When I was younger all I drew were various animals and especially dragons and dinosaurs…my family used to tell me that this was "Fine for now…but when you're older you can't do this for a living…Theres no money in it", which in their defense thats very much their way of viewing the world…but when Jurassic Park came out…it made me feel like I could do anything I wanted to…And so I have really XD…so I'm eternally grateful for that. Plus Dinosaurs…point made LOL.

I know of Furcadia…I tried to play a while back but at the time it was buggy on my computer (or maybe my computer was just buggy…its been a while XD;) so I never really joined in…but I think I've actually seen that avatar around before! Nice to finally meet you :3

If you'd like I can always ping ye with progress XD If that wouldn't be horribly annoying XD

Oh I know how you feel! I come from a mostly artistic deprived family where very few people are able to draw. More women on both sides were better with the hands in crafting or sewing. But drawing? Nah. Only a few. But they aren't far from being spot on. It's very difficult to get into the art field; I tried back in the very late 90's and had trouble then. I can only imagine how hard it is now. :/

Really? You played Furc? XD And you believe you saw Raptor around? Wow that had to have been before 2008 or so. I've been kinda slack on logging the alt since then. But I am amazed to come across another Furc (even if in passing) player! Though shouldn't surprise me since there is a Flight Rising group for Furc now and I see a lot of the little FR tags in people's descs haha.

But sure! Do ping me! I'd love to see how far you get with this project. :D

@Oncamimus I'm so glad that I'm not the only one that had this idea! I went sniping in the AH. They're not perfect (and I know they're all supposed to be ladies, but I love breeding pairs so much) but I love them. Working on geneing them up now. Blue's pretty much done though. I also found this image that helped with the bodies. @Rangiku It's definitely tough living in a family with little to no other artists in it. For lack of a better way to say it…they just don't seem to get you XD; Unfortunately the art world/film world hasn't gotten much easier to crack…but I'll keep trying :3

Furc from SUPER long time ago…I'll poke my head in every couple years but I don't seem to be able to grasp on to it for very long. To be honest I can't even remember my handle anymore >.> Oops…

I'm hunting like the dynamic quartet themselves XD; Soon I'm sure I'll find at least one of them. Hopefully with the upcoming holiday…enough Light dragons will be hatched that maybe I can find Delta, Echo, and Charlie :3

@Rebbawskaced As soon as I came out of the theater last thursday I knew it had to happen XD Congrats on finding some lovelies! I don't blame you for gender bending them XD; I've been tempted a couple times by some PERFECT dragons that unfortunately…were male :/ Of course I have to be crazy XD; I hope you don't mind me using that image on the first post! It'll certainly help me out XD

Also, that movie was AWESOME. I loved it. Very entertaining, and I don't think I've ever seen a 4th installation in a series that wasn't awful before. I really want to go see it again! Maybe in IMAX this time?

@Rebbawskaced I highly recommend it in IMAX….I was lucky enough to see it in IMAX and I will forever recommend that format XD! Dude…it really did smash the third atrocity into the ground…and I might even be bold enough to say it trumped the second, only outmatched by the obvious first. But that might be a little to crazy to commit to...

@Oncamimus I'll have to make the time to go see it then! I actually enjoyed the third movie more than the second, but nothing beats the first. It's timeless! It's also a classic, and nothing beats having seen it as a kid and being terrified! I was lucky enough to be able to see the re-release of the first movie in IMAX and THAT was worth it. So amazing!

Also…@Rebbawskaced I missed the re-release ;_; that was such a sad day when I realized it was gone…I was in the middle of a project and had no time for anything else ;_; Oh well…I'm sure there will be another time when they will release it…technology gets more and more nuts and all that :3
