The Children of Legends themselves, Tristan, Iricea, and Kaloria came together and decided they would spread a lineage of artists and courtesans, all destined for greatness, all touched with magic and majesty. The cup of inspiration would overflow eternally for their children, and their children's children, forever onwards.
For they had become Inspiration Incarnate, three beings of such beauty and grace that all who called on them to be their muse were blessed with creating the most magnificent pieces of work.
But perfection and inspiration did not come without risk - Inspiration could strike, and it could take hold inside one's heart and drive its catalyst to madness. The desperation of perfection could drive a dragon to forget to sleep, or work themselves past the point of exhaustion. The madness that infects the lineage is one spoken of only in whispers, and vehemently denied by every descendant.
The risk was worth the reward. Works from Ambrosia's Catalysts are displayed and revered all across Sornieth. The artists are renowned and given status beyond compare. Their works are things of incomparable beauty and invoke such emotion as to leave the viewer weeping. The courtesans are favoured by all, almost divine in their reverence, and anything they say becomes a social truth. Words cut like barbed wire, or elevate others onto pillars of grace. Catalysts are groomed from birth to become artisans of unmatched caliber.

[*]Ambrosia's Catalysts dragons will have a generation number to show how distantly (or closely) related they are from the Founders. Tristan, Iricea and Kaloria are considered Generation 0. Their children are Generation 1, their grandchildren are Generation 2, and so forth.
[*]Please do not interbreed Ambrosia's Catalysts, regardless of whether they are far enough removed or not, because this causes issues with generational listing and muddies the genetic pool.
