Greenpod Bloom
Plant
Harvested as a hard-shelled pod, these plants appear to bloom when slow-cooked over a fire.
You're flight has selected you for a important mission. You're honored and so you take it, receiving a map and supplies for your journey. You leave your clan and start your journey. But you come up short when we reach the vast canyon, where legends and stories spread. There is always some truth in legends. You quickly come to a dead end, something that was unmarked on your map and path. There are three boulders/doors.
The left boulder is dark obsidian with glowing sapphire runes. A crevice seems to have held a stone, but it's gone. You venture closer when you hear rustling from the other side, but a strong gust of wind blows you back.
The middle boulder blends in with the canyon walls. Orange with shades of yellows and reds. A bright purple circle,around the boulder, catches your eye. You look closer, and smaller scratch marks lay engraved into the surface.
The third boulder is absolutely HUGE! It's chocolate brown with glowing red words that say "Danger". There's a loud banging coming from the other end and the boulder seems to be...shaking?
You stand back to observe each boulder, knowing only one will lead to the other end. You test you luck and head for the...

You measure it against the crevice in the stone before placing it in. The gem glows and the boulder dissipates. The gem floats into the cave and lands in someone's claws.
"Thank you for returning my gem." The dragon says.

The dragon steps to the side and reveals a tunnel. Light could be seen up ahead and he accompanies you on your journey. So, he becomes a member of your clan.
