Metal serpents are a relatively recently discovered species of Auraboa,who have bodies of pure precious metals,often,also crusted in gems along the head and neck of the individual. This tendency,along with their trusting nature,makes them more vulnerable to poachers who kill them for the valuable gems on the body. The gems are said to have a powerful protective effect upon one who wears jewelry made of the gems,making them in high demand. Some areas have instigated protection strategies to protect them.

This is an Auraboa subspecies I thought people would enjoy seeing. If anyone has any suggestions on other varieties of this species,let me know!

Behavior:Metal serpents of all types tend to be curiously docile towards strangers and often closely approach anyone who intrigues them. The generally get along well with all breeds,but the venom is more dangerous than normal for the breed,as this subspecies venom can turn the victim’s skin into metal,immobilizing them over time. They also love to steal shiny objects from strangers,as many an individual has lost jewelry and other objects to them.

Apparel:This breed prefers jewelry with precious stones and generally prefers colors that match the body. In fact,they have an obsessive tendency to hoard jewelry and other shiny objects,often approaching individuals with jewelry on them. They usually have a spot they use to hoard stolen objects,and can be vicious defending their stashes.(I know ancients can’t wear apparel,skins work in this case)
