As this is lore heavy,updates may be only after each breeding. Each group of hatchlings will have plant lore included. This challenge begins with the selection of your matriarch. To pick one, she must fulfill two requirements. The first, obviously, is that she has to be biologically female. The second is that she must have never been bred before now. She can be from your clan already, from the Auction House, have any breed / color / gene combination, be immediately RTB or not -- If you find that you're tiring of your matriarch's look, feel free to scatterscroll her, breed change her, or alter her genes as much as you'd like. The only thing you cannot do is replace her with any other dragoness after the challenge begins. 2. Select the first mate for your matriarch. You may retrieve him over the Auction House, borrow a stud, or pick a permanent resident of your clan -- literally the only requirement for him is that he's biologically male and thus can produce offspring with her. Note how this step says "first" mate. This is because your matriarch cannot breed with the same dragon twice across the duration of this challenge. Special: I have decided all mates will be my favorite breed,[b]Coatl[/b],so the maximum number of eggs from any nest is 4. I have also decided each mate must have at least [b]one[/b] gem gene to be eligible. 3. Breed them once they're both RTB and you have sufficient space! Make a note of how many children they've had and keep it. Maintaining count is key. I'd also recommend making a note of who the mate was, so that you never accidentally "double-dip." 4. When the hatchlings are born, I must keep them for a [b]two[/b] week period before I can exalt. Before that I will try to find homes for them 5. As she studied the world around her, she formed an idea,that she decided needed remedied immediately. To her,there seemed to be a lack of more…exotic plant varieties,especially those of the fruit variety. She hummed to herself,coming up with a plan to create an army of hatchlings that were of all new species of plants to fill the world with. She flicked her feathers in excitement,this would be interesting. She herself has the ability to grow plants like a walking garden,due to her odd soil-like skin. Mate: [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/80376712][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/803768/80376712_350.png[/img][/url] a Vigneron,Hawthorn believes the world could use more grapes and wine. The end goal for him is seeing new varieties as a grape breeder and to get awards for his varieties. Hawthorn is first mate,and will be also recording all hatchlings after he breeds for the sake of research. @Glitchtrap Luckyclaw surveyed the gardens,one of her colorful offspring at her feet,it large passion flowers shimmering in the sunlight.[i]This is going well so far but…I need to find more colorful males,to make things more beautiful[/i] With that,she curled with the hatchling and decided to take a nap. @Glitchtrap This newest set of saplings were interesting to say the least,the feathers of her two newest hatchlings were shimmering like glass,with crystal orchids over the wings and body. She nodded at Menthe,thanking him for his contribution to her special project,him bowing back and sauntering off,probably back to his kingdom.
