Pestilence

Recently, a team was sent to take care of a large amount of strange disappearances a few kilometers southwest of Hellwell Undercroft,many claiming before an individual disappeared,that an unknown sound was heard,seemingly emanating from an area dense in large fungi,bordering Arcane territory. The sound seemed to come from a large grove of moss,mushrooms and ferns,the sound seemingly having an entrancement ability.

After following the sound for about a half hour,a large Auraboa came into view,its scales shimmering in a metallic glimmer in the high noon sun. It seems she hasn’t yet noticed us,but what was found in her location was…disturbing to say the least. Dragons of different ages and breeds were decorating the surrounding area,some even covered with moss for the time they had been there.

Once she learned of our presence,she seemed polite,but the tone of her voice…put us off. It was filled with a malice I had rarely experienced,except for MaskedFlame. She seemed unbothered by our shock at imprisoning others in statues,their metallic bodies gleaming in the light. She introduced herself as Pestilence,her calm tone unnerving us even more. She said all the ones who disappeared were murderers and cheaters,those that liked to take advantage of others.

She narrowed her eyes at us,suddenly relaxing in our presence. I take that as a good sign,as she seems very dangerous. The sound we had heard she can create by rubbing her feathers against her body,creating an odd sound,that when combined with her magic,could entrance others. She agreed to come with us,warning there were others to be punished. I admit she intrigued me,as after our return,she even gave MaskedFlame pause,something I never thought possible. Seems,like Shilling,she can turn objects and creatures into metal objects,she chose to use her gift differently,making me wonder what she had experienced to make her so angry. Hopefully this will not end badly,as MaskedFlame has been nervously watching her since we arrived back.
