Horizon: Zero Dawn (and the Horizon franchise as a whole) has an incredibly special place in my heart, so of course a lot of my favourite characters are from the games. Once I finish with my current projects, I'm going to attempt to recreate the whole main cast in fandragons. For now though, I have a few.

First of course is one of the best main characters in video games, Aloy. She'll eventually be replaced with a G1 of similar colours, and this dragon will turn into a Elisabet fanderg, but for now this is her. I can't explain how much I love her character, I am just...so connected to her. She's everything I wanted in a character. So yeah, she's probably my favourite.

Next is the murder man himself, Nil! I wasn't going to make his fanderg until later, but a lovely user offered to rent out a dragon for breeding that had the exact colours I wanted, so how could I wait? The above is his eventual look. I really enjoyed clearing out bandit nests with him in the first game, he just had an almost silly vibe compared to other parts of the game, being so over-the-top murderous.

And of course, the great antagonist from the first game, HADES. It was such a cool 'otherworldly' force, and I honestly felt it was taken out of the narrative too soon - it had so much potential! It was refreshing to have such a ruthless, focused adversary. I've decided I'm going to make all the AIs in this game into various Ancients that fit their theme - I feel it makes them feel different from the Moderns that will be the main characters.

I'm not too far into Forbidden West yet (curse responsibilities) but I've recently met Kotallo and can confidently say I'm joining the 'would defend with my life' wagon. i love all my fandragons, and for that matter, it's really hard for me to entirely hate any fictional character - sure, there are a lot i'd punch in the face if they were real, but i have to admit they're amazingly written characters.
however, as anybody who has seen my fanderg tab can probably guess... i'm extremely attached to Arcee. i currently have 4 different incarnations of her, and my ultimate goal is to get every single one. my favorite out of them has got to be the IDW version, though!

Fighting the urge to post all of my Brute Force Fandragons because the game is so obscure that I've only ever had ONE other person recognize them on this site... So I shall show you one.

This is Hawk. She's based off Hawk from Brute Force. Hawk Brute Force is my beloved. I love her so much that I've genuinely made a self insert sona to put her into the game just so I can ship them. She is my wife and I WILL gatekeep her from ithers because like!!! Who's gonna steal her? Nobody knows about the game to begin with! Or the book set up as a prequel which just makes her and the others even BETTER. I'm not normal about her and I admit it but like. I love her and I am very VERY happy with how her fandragon came out.
Okay now then onto some more normal ones.

I love myself a good villain and Saren just fits! Granted I love a majority of the Mass Effect characters, evil or no (with some exceptions like... I hate Udina and I'm not a massive Liara fan [blasphemy, I know]) and its like... Man. Also Turians are super duper cool IMO I think they're neat!

Equius Zahhak is my favorite Home stuck character I will stand by this forever. Yeah he's weird but he's also got his sweet moments? You can really tell her cares for Nepeta despite everything and I just think he doesn't believe in the hemospectrum despite how often he spouts it (ex. His love for Aradia and Nepeta, his distaste of the seadwellers, and how he was originally supposed to be in a redrom with Tavros before Hussie gave the fans fanservice with GamTav [still have beef with Hussie for that the hinting was RIGHT THEIR. The original centaur body for Tav's legs, the fact that Rufioh and Horuss were together, its like... It would've been so good]). I understand why a bunch of people don't like him and I'm not going to excuse his actions because they were still his but I feel like he gets a lot of unwarranted hate because people just see him for the surface and don't dig deep... Also Meowrails is just. Mwah. Chefs kiss. Can't have Equius without Nepeta.

seto kaiba is like. my favorite character + f/o of all time at the moment. genuinely. i have yet to find a perfect dragon for his duel monsters iteration BUUUT i do have his season 0 version. he's suuuch a comfort character. such a babygirl despite the attempted murder. i will defend him forever and ever i love him so much
