We suspect something traumatic occurred in her first youth, before she arrived at WindSky Weyr, etched into her bones. The hatchlings have been warned NOT to try and hang tinsel from her spikes, lest there be an incident.

She would hate the loudness of celebration, and since she originated from the depths, she would also hate all the bright lights. The cold isn't that good for her either, but I doubt there's much snow in the Viridian Labyrinth.[/center]

He wouldn't be caught dead decorating, enjoying the celebratory air, or being happy in general.
