Towards outsiders Diamonds behave in a very sophisticated and polite manner. Outsiders often view them as very passionate and reserved species prone to pride of their knowledge, origin and given purpose. Despite their usually good behavior, like all coatls, Diamonds are fierce when it comes down to defending something that’s precious to them. And when it comes to their knowledge they’re even overprotective of it, never sharing too much information to outsiders and keeping them away from their relics and scrolls.
Desert Diamonds usually choose scholarly or finesse based occupations, and they’re naturally gifted in both wits and magic. Most of the mundane and heavy labor, such as fishing for example, will usually be done by their larger kin. This doesn’t mean that their larger brethren are treated as servants or otherwise lesser valued than the Diamonds, quite the opposite! Diamonds are extremely affectionate and thankful towards their larger kin, and they often give them gifts to show how much they appreaciate them.
