Please reach out if you are interested in adopting any hatchlings that are not qualified to be the heir for their generation.
Thank you to @WinterKitten1996 for the awesome emblem for my Legacy Project!
When I joined FlightRising I was given a couple of fighters to help me in the coliseum by my wonderful real world best friend @Sinjin who kept nagging me until I gave FR a try. One of the two she gave me was Valor:
Not long ago when I decided to try training up dragons myself, I decided to train one of his daughters, Valtura:
When I realized that not only is her father a G1 but her great great grandfather is also a stately old dragon in my lair (great great grandfather on her mother's side, Tessitura):
I decided to do a legacy project.
So I found Valtura a suitable mate and bred the two of them. I didn't know exactly what I wanted out of the hatchling that would carry on the legacy, I just knew I'd know them when I saw them. Then finally she hatched a baby that had a gem gene courtesy of her mate. That's when I decided that I would breed until I got an additional gem gene on each generation moving forward to carry on the legacy.
Currently Visserly is trained to Level 25 (by @Chickles13 ) and consistently nesting until she both passes on her Alloy gene and her mate manages to pass on either a primary gene or tertiary gene onto their offspring. When that happens that hatchling will carry on the legacy themselves.
So this thread is the legacy of this process, documented almost exclusively for the purpose of having a record of it for myself, but if anyone wants to adopt a hatchling that doesn't meet the gene requirement to carry on the legacy I'd be happy to start a list.
And they begat:
*
And we are currently still working on finding Visserly's successor...
Special thanks to @FableTheWolf for helping me with coding for the exalted dragons
I'm subbed.
