That bright gold eye marking on its wing is also a gorgeous focal point of the design. Her apparel is also wonderfully complimentary of the overall design! I love how well all the red+flower themed apparel matches. The gene has so much potential as a subtle color-changer, and Zorro wears it wonderfully. I really like how it appears to blend his wings into his background; that look matches his mysterious and oceanic aesthetic well! I also really enjoy the Chitin apparel pieces on him, they're (in my opinion) extremely underrated apparel pieces with a lot of fun color combinations. His accent also matches extremely well - its bright pops of silver and blue add a nice contrast to his darker genes. (Day 40) Since I've been too busy irl to keep the thread fully active this month (and likely will be throughout February), I've decided to combine the January and February Art Raffle. This will keep the number of dragons in each raffle more consistent! Posts should become more regular again by March. The harsh, black-and-white contrast in both genes and apparel perfectly sells the "TV Static" look, and I absolutely love the bright yellow Dark Sclera eyes. (They match the little yellow tassels on the Jesters apparel too! I just noticed that and think it's a super fun detail.) Fun art, as well! She has a super cohesive design all around, and it perfectly fits her uncanny and chaotic characterization. I really enjoy the idea of a slightly unhinged, experiment-obsessed alchemist running about! The black/gold color palette is stunning, and I love the nature-themed but underlyingly geometric look of their accent. It blends perfectly with their existing genes! The background swirls from the Constellation, in particular, look incredible. The sparse apparel also looks really nice, complimenting the existing gold details of the design without distracting from the accent/genes. I really enjoy how fluid and menacing his overall aesthetic is, and it matches his lore/characterization wonderfully!
