Also inspired by @Annoyed 's amazing W.A.G.E group. She prefers to be addressed as the Grandmaster. Nothing gets past her and any strange Candidates from other clans must run by her to be registered or show proof of affiliation before being allowed to use her facilities, services, or ask for her bounties. Local Candidates don't take kindly to those trespassing on their territory, let alone their prey.

Terminology can vary from Control to Control. Charoite favors using Chess words as her preference of codes. This is subject to change/have words added.

Adjournments - Safe places for Candidates. No business is to be conducted on the grounds. This gives Candidates a piece of mind, a safe place to sleep without fearing of attack. Owned by the Controls.

Caïssa – the code name/greeting given to those within the Gemini clan to gain access to the Underground. It's easy to identify those who are within the clan. Controls choose their own word to use to keep track of those that work for them and to keep bounties and rewards documented.

Candidates - Hunters, Assassins, Thieves, Spies, or anyone who works within the Underground. They typically work under one Control but can gain access to services provided by other Controls.

Checkmate - If an excommuned Candidate doesn't agree with becoming a Gambit, a bounty is placed on them. Candidates who are Checkmated are good as hunted. Only a Control can excommuned a Candidate.

Controls - Fellow Heads of Adjournments. They are in charge of their own faction. They have all the information, records, and Exchangers. They provide the safe space for those conducting business.

Exchangers/Exchanges - Suppliers. These are services available to those in the Underground. Tailors, Weapon Smiths, Healers, and other services required. They work/hired by the Controls, for the Candidates

Ex Unite Vires - A common phrase those within the Underground say. Means "from unity, strength"

Gambit – these are excommuned Candidates who are given a chance to live but are in debt to their Controls.

Rules of Conduct. Those who are a part of the Underground are expected to follow the rules or find themselves becoming a gambit or hunted.

These vary between clans but they see each other as equals, though can easily form alliances with other Controls or be enemies constantly fighting for power over. Under their control, they must insure that those working below them are following the rules, paying debts, and other various duties. These are specialized workers who are known for their craft. They hide within plain sight, working for the common folk; however, when presented with the symbols of the Underground they'll help with their more hidden talents. Example: a peaceful Tea Maker, known for their calming remedies and blends. One flash of the Underground symbol, they'll start showing you their poisoned blends.
