Hmmm... Well I get what your feeling I have trouble with snappers and ridgebacks (And to a lesser extent bogsneaks and nocturnes). The trick is to find a dragon you like the look of but don't want to breed change, or just be desperate enough for some variety in your lair like me (I have way to many pearlcatchers and skydancers, it get really same-y after a awhile)
Find a cool accent for breeds you don't like, or just embrace the weird things about them, I used to hate tundras because they have fur, but now I love them because they're fluffy

I'm very picky with my permas, but I do have one Nocturne. She was a project dragon that took a while to hatch but my plans for her have always involved her being a Nocturne with Thylacine. Her name is Crepe and honestly, I was probably just really craving something sweet when I came up with this scry. xD
