Biography
Mythros
Clan Leader - Historian/Scribe
Clan Leader - Historian/Scribe
Mythros is a quiet dragon who aimed to recreate the culture and continue the legacy of a clan within the Sea of a Thousand Currents that had been wiped out of existence, namely since the clan's activities and beliefs were of great interest to him. Very little is known about him other than said interests, since he is a dragon who enjoys his privacy. He had first heard of this particular clan within his home territory after waking within the Winter months as a hatchling, aptly dubbed Night of the Nocturne.
During his short wakening period, he managed to catch glimpses of the fantastic inventions the clan created for the benefit of dragonkind. One such invention was a small machine that took and amplified a dragon's gathered elemental breath and transformed it into another. It was mainly used for members of the clan who disliked the element they were born with and wished to use the one they were interested in.
Sometime after he went back into hibernation, the clan was destroyed with few traces left of their existence. After waking for his next and final Night of the Nocturne and finding out that the clan was wiped out, Mythros left his home territory to live within The Scarred Wastelands that belonged to the Plaguebringer, intent on using this territory and its natural barriers while clearing any tasks at hand to jumpstart his goals of continuing the legacy. He was no inventor, but he gathered any information he could find and kept it safe within his hoard. It was during this time he met his future mate, Reshitao.
After enough members had joined within his fledgling clan, Mythros had returned to his home territory, moving the clan back to the sub region of the Tsunami Flats, where their predecessors had once resided. He had chosen an area that was close to the borders of Water and Lightning, at an elevation high enough to where snow could fall within the Winter months.
As a dragon of the Nocturne breed, it is in their nature to mimic, and the dragon Mythros chose to mimic was the clan's first founder, who was an Imperial of the Lightning element. The charisma the former founder held helped Mythros in finding others who share his same goal. This also helped in negotiations with the Beast Clans that claim territories near by. The iconic familiar that was always seen by the founder's side, a Storm Seeker, had even came to Mythros' side, cementing his status as the clan's new leader. However, this behavior sometimes earns the scribe certain phrases, such as that "he's trying to be someone he's not" or that "he should be himself" from his peers in neighboring clans.
Those phrases would come back to haunt him when the phenomenon known as the Bounty of the Elements had occurred, which had caused a massive hurricane to wipe out the entire sub region of the Tsunami Flats and cause their connection to the Tidelord's prophecies to be broken. Mythros, who was now put on the spot as the clan leader, could no longer rely on borrowed emotions from the founder of a long dead clan. The nocturne had finally been forced to drop his usual demeanor and show his true self, in turn, this caused his Storm Seeker to leave him. He found a voice in aiding his comrades as they made the trek to the Sunbeam Ruins, though he was constantly wondering if he was doing alright, especially since he didn't have any charisma, so to speak. He had his knowledge, and his gut, along with the opinions of his clanmates, which he listened to.
Eventually, the weary troupe had found a clan within the Light territory that would temporarily take them in and allow them to rest, while those who were willing and able went to the front lines to help clean up after the disaster. Those that had volunteered also helped in the eventual construction of Flotsam Town, which the clan has a healthy kinship with.
However, their rest would be a short one, as it wasn't long before word of an Emperor rising near the Hewn City was brought to them, causing them and their allied clan to part ways and flee.
The clan traveled on, keeping a look out for an area that would make for their new lair. Finally, they happened upon a glittering white sand beach with an equally stunning island not far off in the distance. At night, the clan had noticed that the breaks that crashed onto the shore would illuminate the white sand, almost as if the night sky had dropped into the sea and the stars were washing up on shore. The area also held some significance, as it was near the underwater city of Levitos. This island not only gave them a new home, but gave them a precious gift that only they had the pleasure of seeing, and it had given Mythros the perfect name for his clan, which he had been struggling to name ever since he founded it.
The Clan of the Silver Shore, it truly fit them well. With this name, the scribe had decided to expand the clan's goals to more than just the rebuilding of a lost legacy, which was now quite low on his priority list. This clan would be a hub of sorts, with the main goal set to simply rebuilding their troupe and themselves for the time being. His most prominent idea for the future is that of a peaceful, but lively harbor village during the day, and at night, the beach would become the clan's private escape into relaxation.
