Glancing down at the paper in your claws you scramble along through the twisting docks. Desperately looking for the ship rumored to trade in anything and everything your heart could desire for surely they would have what you need. "Ahoy chap seems like you are on the hunt for something important." With a startled jump you spin around finding yourself face to face with a massive ridgeback. "Come come we work in all wares and do-dads! Lamps, exotic carpets, Single rings, stony swords! You name it we have it!" She drags you along as the crowd mysteriously parts before her, converging again without taking any notice as you pass. Eagerly she takes you to a small single manned ship and hurries you below deck shutting the heavy door behind you. Inhaling on her pipe the mood changes becoming slightly more ominous despite the grin on her face, "Now child what would you like to trade with little ole Delta."

Barbarossa, Scourge of the Deep
Barbarossa was not a creature to be trifled with. The most feared pirate of his time and beyond he had amassed a massive fortune with just as many enemies. Forced to flee with his treasure he headed into the only area he knew his pursuers would not dare to go, laughing at the title of the supposed Demon's Lullaby. His laughter was soon replaced by the delicate sound of a gentle call, alluring and beautiful. Barbarossa and his crew could not help but bend to the will of the song heading straight to their doom as the ship crashed into the largest of the reefs on the Demons waters. Slowly sinking in the water watching his years of treasure hunting floating to the bottom of the ocean he spotted her giggling as she grinned at the destruction around her. Silently he cursed the creature before darkness took him, swearing he would not rest as long as she was alive and his treasure still lay in the ocean beneath.

"When you look up at the night sky and see the vast expanse, don't you wonder what's beyond it? To reach out and seize the stars for yourself. To explore the unknown." you sigh softly and take a gulp of your drink while examining the world around you. The Skydancer leaning against the rail of the pub beside you stands up with a grin. "What interesting questions you have kid, how about we make that dream come true." A grin spreads over her face as you gasp and drop your cup, a ship descending down from the sky illuminating the captain before you as she reaches out a hand, "Let's shoot for the stars and beyond." Her smile is infectious, feeling it spread to your own face as you eagerly take her hand in yours.

Decided last minute to switch on to my space pirate instead. Though shes more into it for the thrill of adventure than making herself rich.

[b]Loch[/b] is a dragon based on a bounty hunter/space pirate character of mine. she ran away from her school after her mentor Korin revealed themself to be evilish and invited Loch to join them. Loch said "oh my god you're a horrible criminal," ran away, and accidentally became a criminal herself. She climbed through the ranks of local gangs and eventually got a crew of her own and built a name for herself, with a reputation made mostly of "i don't ask questions and i just want money." eventually she's actually hired to kill her old mentor, but can't go through with it after she makes the mistake of hearing them out. Loch is so much fun to write (and draw)
