They are born between the border, and gifted with the ability to rejuvenate themselves through the plant life around them, bringing decay to what they touch.
However, their decay is ground for new life to grow.
They are shunned by neither flight, but considered fey by both.
Their form is almost vegetal, mold and lichen clinging to their veined scales.
They do not feed through the sun like plants, but are obligate carnivores.
The usual kind is thought as rather pretty, like autumn leaves.
An even rarer kind is so advanced in their decaythat it impacts flesh too, making them a terrifying sight on the battlefield, causing ennemies to break down as their own forces are heightened.

They are however much more potent than their common counterpart, and perfectly capable of inflicting dire wounds if trained to battle.
