@gloamingchild XD OK, so the clan has a few oddballs in the mix. Thanks for taking a look at them, and I'm especially glad to hear you find Zelamar eye-catching! It's very appropriate for a siren. X3 I've been on FR for a few years now, so my lore's had time to pile up. I hope you enjoy the other stories!

Every dragon in my den has at least a little bit of lore to them, with plans to expand. My clan's theme, such as it is, is a ragtag bunch of outcasts and misfits except there's no evil overlord to topple, so they just kind of go about their days and sometimes the Gallery collapses, but the Gallery just does that so no one really minds. Honestly, like 70% of my lair is fodder rescue that got prodded into some semblance of an extended found family. I see a pretty derg, I adopt a pretty derg, I panic and shove them into the first role I can think of and try to make it look like I planned it all from the start. He's my most recently finished profile, just wrapped up and posted today. All he needs now is art and some dedicated story time, and he'll be perfect. I'm pretty sure she's the only one who is, in fact. She's the clan undertaker and a priestess of rot, and I love her. @gloamingchild
1) sure thing! that tab's mainly as i'm too lazy to sort everything out, heh.

Zygarde is technically part of the fanderg group, but, being a g1 hatch, is a little more of an impromptu addition.
it's to be a non-draconic entity, capable of breaking itself down into hundreds of tiny organisms, and is just one of many of its kind. due to that, it can change shape and size constantly. being focused on the preservation of (more worldwide) order, it's at home in a rescue guild- having the final say on mission priority when it matters. it can also keep an eye on some of the more, ah, chaotic dragons.

Shadowfang
's my custom progen. i keep changing what to do with him though, i'm planning on gening him into a Gaoler.
i'm not entirely sure how to approach his lore yet. of course, he's to be my (second) clan's leader, and i know i want him to have been a warlike Gaoler from the ancient times who got released from work- perhaps, then, an overseer or sentinel. one idea's that a prison breakout lead to him being injured, so he retired to the Tangled Woods, where perhaps he met Helheim (devout Shadow mage) who helped him out, changed his element and stuff.
possibly i could split his lore to acknowledge the Guardian scry as well. maybe two stories, one where he's breedchanged to a Guardian as it's the only way to heal him and he goes to seek out a Charge, and one where he stays a wounded Gaoler and other dragons find him. i'm not too sure where to go, tbh.

2) ah yes, the coatls. as a massive hoard of pretty impulse buys, i simply can't string together interconnecting lore between them all, nor do i have a huge amount of lore for any of them. regardless, though, i have ideas, even if it requires many dragons to have stories

Soul
is getting special treatment, but i'm unsure of what exactly to do with him. perhaps a spirit of some kind?

Kenaz
(the skin and outfit, not plan for the dragon underneath) i want to be a living flame creature, or whatever. friendly, but without capacity to properly understand dragons.

Larimar
... i'm thinking a statue created long ago to worship a deity that is now somehow sentient. not planning for it to be known by anyone to exist yet, maybe hidden in a ruin or something.

Jori
and Aessal are to have connected lore. the former a young, cheerful wanderer of the Southern Icefield kept warm by his unnaturally thick feathers, and the latter a kind of ghost he meets, visible to only him. Aessal's the only one who can use magic, and so helps Jori pretend to be an adept mage.

long-lost brothers next up- Circuit being the quiet, gentle type, and his younger, almost-twin brother Ampere being more energetic and playful, being the one who embarked on a 'quest' to find his bro.

i'm thinking about using the concept of a warrior stuck in the Arena, captured and trapped by Beastclans, for Hasdrubal, though i'm not sure of his character or how the story plays out.

Chamois
is to be a drowned sailor. no idea on personality.

i know that Dart is, like the name suggests, a poison dart frog, with toxins in his body so dangerous he must constantly expel them from his eyes to stop it hurting him. on a limb, i'd say probably not the most popular dragon.

Songfall
is an undead phoenix. the badly drawn sketch in their bio shows roughly what they actually look like.

time for another non-organic being that became sentient? yup. at least, that's my plan for the worn-out Tatters, perhaps a run-down animatronic?

last two- i've no real plans for them, but Phantasos and Yaeshan are both parts of my primal coatls project, so their lore's gonna be similar, if not interconnected with each other and 9 different dragons.

My clan lore is basically just "Two dergs met went they were little, decided to make a clan when they got older. Rescued a few other dergs, then left to find parents. The derg who was left in charge recruited a bunch of weirdos, but when the leaders came back, they were like 'Hey, you're not terrible at this. We'll sit at the top of this mountain and do literally nothing, while you continue to look after the clan'." and that's it. As in for dragons with lore, I'm re-writing my dragon's lore, but here are some whose lore isn't as messy. My clan lore might just be an excuse for my inability to stick with one theme when dressing my dragons, honestly. That, and I don't have most of their lore actually written, due to chronic laziness. I hope to get my act together some day, but I'll share the ones that have lore in place. These ones all have lore in their bios too! Nathan has been known in Gospel as the ‘spider dragon for as long as anyone can remember. He possesses too-many-to-count limbs, six eyes, and has realigned his flight from ice to shadow, arguably more fitting for a mysterious dragon like him. Nathan is also an exceptional climber due to both his abnormal amounts of legs and his magic ability making his climbing sprees as quick and swift as any dragon can manage considering the need to basically rearrange his every limb every step. His nickname is Mono, meaning “one, single” which arguably is fitting since he’s one to stick to himself most of the time. Nathan is a known criminal in Gospel, who’s grown used to such and holds his reputation high with his skilled Shadow magic and numerous arms. He’s a cold trickster, and has grown used to showing very little emotion to those who know him just as little. Once you get to know him, however, Nathan has a large array of emotions including an extreme anxiety and the reflexes of a cat. Nathan is also very good at testing and unleashing his magic capabilities with his own mind, rather than the typical body a dragon harnesses his magic from. Nathan is extremely fast in both body and his spell-casting, being more swift than any of the dragons in Gospel. He’s swift enough to basically turn himself to a shadow when he moves, both noiseless and spooky. Nathan’s anxiety has caused both problems and uprises all over Gospel because of his demeanor and portrayal. He’s known to greet dragons with a growl and snarl; showing his sharp teeth to whoever so much as passes his radius. Mono’s instinct to instantly fight whomever passes him can be quite unsettling to most dragons. Mono’s shadow magic is occasionally hard to control due to his anxiety, but he’s for sure working on making it better, teaching himself numerous other things in his plights. He’s incredibly fast; swifter than any other dragon in Gospel, and now has the ability to zip trough shadowed areas unnoticed; which can be good to him, but not for other dragons in Gospel, being the known criminal in all. ~Edited by GalaxyKitten1454[nextcol][/columns] [columns][nextcol]Sandpiper is the current lead in Gospel that has been chosen by the city. Sandpiper is a loyal banescale. He rules over the city and looks after it like it's his own child. Though, he does have extreme anger issues which leads to different problems getting in the way of his important duties. Being a fire dragon is tough, especially whenever you have anger issues. You blast everything with some sort of fire, which then leads to destruction and chaos. He knows this too well... and the city did have it's bright spots from it. But that doesn't mean he's a bad leader. He's been working on controlling his anger well enough so that he can finally rule peacefully without having to worry about the city getting burned down because of him. Sandpiper sits up in the Dark Tower where The Council resides. He lives there; at the very top. The Council visits him a lot for meetings. They are held with everyone in The Council, including Sandpiper. They discuss the new ideas and inventions being added to Gospel, also talking about how to improve security with it's guardians. A lot more training has been set in place because of this act, too. If you ever see Sandpiper on the streets, he's most likely trying to calm himself down or get something for The Council. The Council cannot be out and about on the streets because some of them are light-bound, meaning they constantly glow. For Sandpiper, however, you may think he's glowing because he's a fire dragon. Well he CAN glow, but he can turn it on and off. Sandpiper glows from within his body. The fire starts up there, which is why in some areas he looks like he's burnt to a crisp. The sanguine colored smoke that appears from the tips of his wings, his tail, and his mouth is a result of the smoke coming from his body itself. That constantly flows.[/columns] [emoji=crescent moon 2 size=1]

60890578_350.png Sandpiper is the current lead in Gospel that has been chosen by the city.

That constantly flows.

I only have a couple dragons with fleshed out lore, and Sirius is by far my favorite

I recently redid my lore and man am I happy with it. I went with something I've always loved and always wanted to play with in the FR framework: angels. The lore behind angels is on Sibon here, and everyone in my lair has lore of some kind (even if it's just weird creepy cryptic poems and a song, I don't have the energy to write big things and I like the cryptic vibe.) Some highlights, though, whether I love how they turned out aesthetically, or I just like how their lore ended up. King, my me-dragon and the only one other than Sibon to have a full design. Oops.
