Bred gen 1s are valid too! I honestly usually buy all of my dragons unbred, but I often breed the G1s too. I prefer for a pair to have matching offspring lists, maybe that's kind of weird though. One positive to people generally disliking bred gen 1s - they're usually easier to buy haha @CirqueAerien Wow, she's amazing! So perfectly matchy @Taishiro I do understand the appeal, it just makes me sad when amazing dragons get sold for dirt-cheap just because they have a lineage :') Oh well, better for those of us that don't mind, eh? Since basically all of my dragons are gen 1s, I only breed them if they have a 'partner'. Almost every dragons I listed above has a matchy partner that I breed them to on occasion. I think the last three are the only odd ones out. @xiq Thanks! And yeah, I do understand appealing to the market just to get the most you can out of your dragons. I only breed my gen 1s if they have a matching partner, and at that point I've probably decided I'm not going to sell them, not any time soon anyway. That way my non-paired gen 1s can still be sold at their 'real' value @Ophionyx All of those dragons are [i]so [b]gorgeous[/b][/i]. I especially love Ashen, Vermillion, Husk, and Zephrinn! @Silver202 Those two are both so pretty, purple is such a nice colour :3 Tempest is going to look marvelous when she has her secondary! I also like looking at my dragons' lineages. Sometimes I'm sad to see a baby or two exalted (especially if unnamed... ouch), but seeing others dressed up or otherwise treated with love just warms my heart. @phoenyxillusion Holy moly, I almost thought she was wearing a skin! Those genes and colours are marvelous together, she's like a sandy beachside dragon! @GlitchEnder Unlucky is gorgeous, I can't stop looking at him! Gespenst is amazing, I love everything about her (ID included!). And Nessie... gosh I just love the kelpie manes! One of my PC babies sold because it matched the exalt bonus, and she went without a name... whoops. And your boy is amazing! I know the original owner of my Banes irl, and they're still kinda new to how FR works. I offered to pay more for them, but he insisted - he was very mad at himself for breeding them and significantly dropping their value. I won't say who he asked, but it's a user who often hosts auctions for other people. They suggested a SB of only 100g, which was so much lower than what he was initially being told before breeding. Probably doesn't help their original colours weren't so great (Gold/Royal/Strawberry for the male, Tan/Sunshine/Wine for the female). But darn, I know it was a SB but that seemed so low, especially with your experience of your dragon selling for 1.2kg... @Frysa Well, who cares what the market thinks? I've seen UNBRED gorgeous dragons heavily underpriced and still not sell, because I guess they're not pretty enough? If I recall correctly, my WC boy was under 200g, probably around 100g. His XYX WC mate was also only around 100g if I'm remembering right (and they were unbred before I got them). Like, why? They're gorgeous! But then I see other doubles or super-matchy XYZs that sell so much higher (without special IDs or birthdates or anything) and I just don't understand, honestly... oh well. I don't mind getting my pretties for cheap! I think they're stunning, and that's what matters, right? And, of course, your dragons are lovely! Fey was just made to be a forest dweller, he looks like he protects the forest and lives with wolves! Flick looks so mystical... I think I like Opal just a touch better on her than Stained, but Stained also might help make her accent and eyes pop even more! Hard choice. And as for Crow... I don't even know what to say. Just... wow, that is an amazing dragon! The accent especially works so well on him! Especially when they find their way into your favourites :) She's gonna be gorgeous! @Solcie Oh he's just adorable! He makes me think of a happy, gardener grandpa c: @Zhar Ooooh those Skydancers especially are super nice! My gen ones are pairs too! I think there's only two I've purchsed with kids already, and two who I used to breed together but don't anymore. Everyone else is a pair. As for that Skydancer Grace... I am in awe, that's an absolutely amazing dragon! It's crazy how cheap gorgeous gen 1s can be as soon as they've been bred... kinda bittersweet. @WillaTheWitch I can totally understand the aesthetic of a clean slate. If FR was ever able to implement that switch to hide lineages, I wonder if that would affect things? And those Banes are splendid! I think Kagura is one of my favourites of their kids, though Remora was pretty cute too! @GrandpaDeicu I don't even know how to begin - they're all so amazing! Toxin especially, just such a gorgeous mix of colours and with the perfect accent to boot! @KalicoKat I like to match my gen 1s into pairs too! That's pretty much the only reason I'll breed them. All of your pairs are gorgeous! I especially like the Fae pair you showed - their accents are so perfectly matchy! And Nypha... wow that's just the perfect Plaguey girl! @DarkYnx It is quite sad. They didn't have the best colours before, to be fair, but even then... they were still pretty in their own way! And especially after scattering them, each only once... they're mine now, and I'll fight to keep them haha
