Parsnip is a Bogsneak that generally helps out on rare occasions with looking after the hatchlings, although she isn't the primary babysitter of the clan. That title goes to a different dragon.
Even so, she has a talent for figuring out where to go in an emergency. She's a quick thinker, and she's pretty good at finding missing stuff, as well. Or naughty hatchlings playing hide-and-seek with their caregiver, I should say?
