There are a bunch of genes that I don't particularly like, but gembond is one of the ones that I really, genuinely hate. However, I've heard that it looks amazing on some dragons, so I want to see your pretty gembond dragons!

The first girl up there is honestly adorable - I don't know why I hadn't considered a similar-color combo of gembond and another gene - but I love her and she makes gembond work!

It really depends on what you want with the gene too.
My swamp monster here has it to symbolize warts, callouses and other.. growths.
So it's disgustingly fitting in that way :P

It has its uses. It's just that those uses are very, ah, limited anymore. I remember back in THE DAY when I first started, and it was one of a grand total of like... four tert genes. The only one fancier than it was circuit, the only one equally complex was crackle. I had it on everything.
I'm legitimately surprised I only have it on four now. Lol.

Snap is my random progen and I scraped together the treasure to get her gembond because it's the only tert that matched her. It still is. I honestly have tried others, but it always goes back to gembond because nothing conveys that "plagueland bi...g girl" vibe like gembond does.

Dagoth and his son, Ilunibi, have gembond. I like to think that enough of it is covered that they don't look too cluttered, but I like the patches of rocky skin you can see. It kind of accentuates their outfits.
