@skyleaf i LOVE his premise!! i really like the idea of a galaxy-themed spirit...something intangible and glimmering. also opal looks beautiful on him and since constellation extends to furred areas on tundras it helps to expand the specks of light all over . hes super pretty at baseline and those flowers add a lot to the look

@Siegmund i am very fond of amaranthus...double metals looks Beautiful on him when coupled with blossoms that accentuate the lighter and darker aspects he’s imbued with by his accent colors. overall 10/10 i love his eyes too he looks like a lake bathed in light with wildflowers by the shore. also considering the significance of lewyn’s familiar i think lightning eyes work perfectly for him — one’s First thought is of course wind, but they’re like. even better in that they echo the cyan tones on his friend

@ZamboZombii OHHH glowing plague eyes in tandem with those clawtips really stand out with her natural/muted palette & draw attention to the suspiciousness of those bandages, and i appreciate that she doesn’t seem a totally unsympathetic character despite a proclivity for overt hostility (it makes sense for a scared hatchling who’s already struggling to survive to act out, and though one of course has to hold her responsible for the fallout of her actions as an adult i think her bio does a good job of establishing that she—at least until a certain point—stops short of the conscious atrocities plague is very well known for!)

@roseblossom i really quite like that Karmiu’s color scheme is so varied, especially considering that dragons with ghost tend to have very death-centric outfits and there’s just the right touch of resplendence on her to make her plausible as a cleric And a hearthkeeper! the juxtaposition of gold on black and red is really interesting to me and gives her a sense of depth & enigmaticism... her little cat makes so much sense color wise that i didnt notice it on the first look omg

@luciferr I REALLY LIKE his backstory for one thing, it fits so well & the convergence of coincidence and superstition in making for an overall inauspicious life really gives him a grounding for his vengeance that makes it simultaneously very unsettling and not altogether unprovoked; the unkindnesses they did, knowingly or not, do seem like enough to induce an ardent desire for retribution. and the choice of apparel provides such a point of contrast to his color scheme! im delighted

@seasidejest oh wow, she looks very charming! i especially quite like the way ghost overlays on the brighter aspects afforded to her by pinstripe; the overall interplay between dark and light works very well with her! she looks almost like a ship sent to a watery grave

@perifinite SURE IT DOES i think she’s the first dragon i’ve seen who’s able to pull off hex that well, it looks Fantastic in tandem with the lighter aspects of her plumed cover and i looove How minimalistic her apparel is, it really facilitates a sense of casual confidence & ostentatiousness while still allowing her accent to shine

@LuckOfTheClaws OHHH man loki is stunning i ADORE how his hat draws one’s eyes straight to his shadow primal, and the overall effect of the lighter purple added by his apparel to the deeper cool colors is an experience one Should have to pay for even if they don’t get the promised results from what he’s been peddling!! what a con man 8)

@ceilingfen bloodstone cascades are absolutely the right choice for facilier imo! they set him apart very effectively from other autumn-themed dragons and, along with his pendants, are very much redolent of royalty while still creating an understated and generally natural outcome that allows room for the bone theme his design has going on to breathe and doesn’t detract any from the thematic sense one gets from the leaves taken in tandem with butterfly (the gold parts of his outfit are clever as well in drawing attention to those beads of yellow on his wings!)

@stygianzinogre ohhh this guy is the epitome of opal well used!! i personally prefer him as a skydancer, but only due to the range of tones allocated to alloy that imo mesh very well with skink. overall though i think he’d look stunning whichever way you’re leaning! he really reminds me of a more esoteric gemstone that isn’t any less beautiful for how little it’s seen !

@Snek at first glance i mistook him for an XXY, the orange accents on tapir work so well with trail and the hues from trail compliment the sheen on his underbelly excellently!
(forgive me if those oranges i mentioned are actually on the pink side, i do not have the best eye for color!)

@Frionivalis seafoam ringlets works excellently on her — it makes the flowers from her accent seem etched in her/like they have stems! she is also an excellent example of a dragon with radioactive that seems eminently natural; the clover field metaphor works excellently for her and is a neat application of constellation/starmap overall
