He does have a strict code of conduct, and an absolute respect for the Clan of the Called, despite his withering hatred for its most powerful healer, the Ringwyrm Spiral Broken, who is part Shade. Burningflame may be evil by the reckoning of some, but this world belongs to him, not the all-corrupting Shade.

She's the main healer of the clan, a gentle soul who just wants to help others. She's all-loving, all-caring, all-vigilant and... all-forgetful. She really does try her best, though, and she's the best healer you'll ever find. She's stern, but very willing to help those who help her. As long as you follow her rules and look out for the clan, she will allow you the clan's resources and safety, and turn her eye from less legal behaviour. She demands loyalty, but only to her, not to any great force, any flight, any army. She doesn't care if you are the most gallant knight or the most evil criminal, as long as you are hers. He's yet another of the many children of Cirrus, and he's obsessed with magic and power. He wants every spell he can find, every incantation he can stitch together from all the different types of magic he's borrowed and stolen from others. He follows his mother's rules, and is careful not to put a toe out of line, but quietly, carefully he amasses all the magical power he can, shadowing other dragons to watch and mimic and learn until the day comes that he can reshape the world for his clan, and make them the most powerful, most wonderful that exists, no matter how he has to do it. If they were to walk into a cavern together, it would likely be a rather dull affair; though Dawn and Penumbra are on wildly differing axis, Dawn is rather ignorant of Penumbra's less savoury side, and the both of them are completely loyal to their mother, and the affair would likely just turn into a family day trip for more supplies for the dam.
