A young and vibrant looking coatl bounds onstage, grinning. The colours of her coat shine in the light with a spectacular sheen. Her eyes sparkle with that rare sort of enthusiasm one finds in a curious hatchling, newly hatched and ready to explore the world. She takes her place onstage and begins to speak:
“HI THERE!” Cynthis all but yells, looking into the gathered sea of faces and waving cheerily. “I’m Cynthis! My mother said I looked uh...’vibrant?’ So she named me after a wild melon! I make milkshakes and I’m supposed to bring using my inside voice!”
She does a little twirl. “I’m just happy to be here! When my girlfriend and I heard about this pageant thing I wanted to give it a whirl! No harm in trying, right?”
Cynthis giggles, tossing her feathers a little. “It’s nice to meet you all! Beauty’s in the eye of the beholder and all that, yunno? I like nature! It’s kinda...naturey and really pretty with all the colours, especially flowers and stuff.” She adds with a sly smirk, “And my girlfriend Musa looks real pretty too~”
Something in the crowd catches her attention and she quickly wraps up, “Huh? Oh, right! Well I’d better go before I start rambling too much! Thanks again for listening!”
The coatl bows and bounces back offstage, leaving most to wonder what the heck just happened.

“Hi, I’m glad to see you all for another round! I’ve dissipated any magic so you can see what my feathers look like! The skeleton pattern is real, I didn’t paint it on”
She demonstrates by rubbing a paw across her face.
“I didn’t like it at first, but I’ve grown to like my markings. I very much hope that everyone can feel beautiful in their own colors and patterns.”

Ruth flutters in, darting between dragons and leaving a flurry of tiny snowflakes in her wake. "I'm not late, am I? Oh good." The fae allows herself to drift to the ground. "Hi everyone! I'm Ruth. I'm glad to be here! I wasn't sure about entering a beauty contest...with the whole blind thing, but I've never heard of a beauty contest with a section that's all about natural beauty." She ducks her head. "Most of my clan voted on who should enter, and they picked me. I hope we all have a wonderful time!"

Veronique nods approvingly as she watches from below. "Nikolas is a sorcerer, you know. Hence the glowing runes that surround him. Nikolas, turn around, show the nice judges- don't be shy." She smirks at the Imperial.
Nikolas sighs quietly and obeys. "If it'll make you leave me alone," he jokes.
