I've tried for the past couple years to have a little event go on around the anniversary of the rescue's creation, and this year received the wonderful suggestion to create a dragon share thread where people could show off the dragons they've adopted from the rescue over the years! I thought this was a great and creative idea - and really hoping it goes well and people actually, you know... participate! It would mean the world to me to see the dragons that I have helped saved in their forever homes, and see how they are doing! But, of course, I can't help but still feel a little leftover generosity from the holiday season... which is why everyone who takes the time to reply here and show me one of the dragons they've gotten from me will receive a [b]little surprise![/b] This is just to thank all of you for making my rescue such a delight to run, and for being part of keeping it going for so long! I want to take the time to make special thanks to a few users in particular... @AoiNoRyuu, you are top of this list. Your generous support of the rescues through your donations of dragons, food, and funds for the expansion of my lair has sort of become the backbone of this entire operation. Your support for what I do and love for this site - as well as just being an all around delightful person - makes you invaluable to not only me, but to many others in your life as well, I'm sure. @toxicsunrise, you also get a special shout out! Thank you for recently helping to expand my lair, and for being someone who is always interested in the rescues and giving them homes! Everyone, feel free to post below with the dragons you want to showcase, and any comments you have for this year's event! I feel like it's only fair, though, if I share a little as well... after all, you guys aren't the only ones to ever get dragons from here! There have been occasions where a dragon is donated that I... am just too selfish to give away! He was donated alongside his sister, and to be honest, they both sat in my lair for quite a long time before going up on the thread! His sister was adopted, but after Ryuki had been here a while without any attention... I decided to keep him for myself. Donated by Barrdwing, he was just too gorgeous for me to resist. After telling Barrdwing I was planning to keep him, they were even gracious enough to write his lore! I'm looking forward to having him in my lair forever!

I'm sad I have apparently never adopted from you, the only Cr I had was sending a 2 year old (at the time) snapper off way way back when haha. But I did want to chime in that this is a lovely idea and I hope people post to show off their rescues <3 ^^

I couldn't believe such a beautiful G1 was in the rescue. I will admit I don't remember his original name but after getting him I quickly blew all my moneys on making him the most wicked Snapper there ever was. Complete with primal eyes and gem genes. He was my first primal and I love him to bits, he's the coolest dragon ever.

They're the second pair I have of "twin" dragons and I love them dearly. I'm up to four so far and I hope to adopt many more. I love them all so much and I'm so glad I had a chance to put them in a good home instead of seeing them exalted!
