While the Clan has two progenitors, FireoftheSun is the lead one. She founded her Clan alongside DecayoftheEarth, and they rule together as the Empress and Emperor. Though she discusses things with her mate, and has a court to consult, final decisions are always laid with her. As the Clan has grown, it has fallen further and further down a twisting path, and lost connection with some of its former allies as it turns from democracy to more of a monarchy. New allies tend to be Clans of similar style, rather than democracies or otherwise peaceful Clans. FireoftheSun is noted to be rather unsympathetic to the lower classes, and believes the Clan should treat her and her Royal Family with respect and unquestioned loyalty. Such behaviour has, of course, done quite the opposite, leading to the formation of rebel groups, annoyed lower classes, and even a few knight factions splitting off from the Royal Army and, while still working for the Clan, doing all they can for the lower classes to make their lives easier. If called to action, these knight factions would fight against their very Empress. If she is aware of this, she does not consider it a threat to her reign or her way of life.[/i][/center]

For a Tundra, Chufa shares somewhat little characteristics with his fellow brethren, being arguably very intelligent (but also very absent-minded and easily distracted) and having an excellent memory, other than just his olfactory memory. He also does not shun away from battle, readily eradicating those who wrong his Clan, or simply stand in the way of The Lightning Flight, or The Stormcatcher's goals. For his allies and friends, he is a sort of a sweet oddball, even goofy at times, and appears to be absolutely carefree and relatively lazy. It is that odd sense of humor, empathy, laziness and genuine, mad optimism that makes him what he is, though. With Faralysa, he is just as bad of a goof, but in a more 'romantic' fashion, as Faralysa describes it. Utterly loyal to her, he tends to be a bit too overprotective at times, which infuriates the proud Fae. He deeply respects her, however, and always turns to her guidance during difficult decision making regarding the Den and the Clan.
His warm, friendly shell that he has most of the time is shed during conflict and heated debates, and he becomes cold, ruthless and calculative. This is most visible during battles where he shows nearly sadistic behavior towards his opponents. Again, after conflict dies off, he immediately becomes his former self again. Some have described this as "unnerving".
He is deeply devoted to The Stormcatcher, but also runs "side-projects" for his own clan's benefit whenever the chance arises, few and far between as they might be. He loves to tinker around and make adjustments here and there. Most inventions he co-creates with the Clan's Head of Science, Ninimirizipi. One of the most successful inventions include a portable, compact cooling device, that helps Chufa wander The Shifting Expanses without a heatstroke, something he has learned to value greatly.
( I intend to create a custom skin to him someday to add copper plating and implants on him to further go with the copper filigree armor and the theme of the Lightning Flight! )

Faralysa is a proud and intelligent Fae, and tends to make the decisions regarding The Den and The Clan, as well as work as a diplomat due to her stable and easily approachable personality. She has taught herself long and hard to read other dragon's expressions and their "cues", having great difficulty at first due to being a Fae. She herself still has the classic monotone speech all Fae dragons have. She favors diplomatic solutions to problems rather than conflict, and in general tends to be the "voice of reason" in The Den. She genuinely cares for the well being of not only her own Den and that of The Lightning Flight, but in general a lot of the dragon and Beastclan population. That kindness, however, is only extended so far, and if she cannot see diplomatic solution a possibility, she usually deems the situation to be dealt with swift eradication of the "offending party". Those who cannot be reasoned or compromised with do not deserve to exist in the first place.
She finds Chufa's more carefree attitude a good counter-balance to her more serious, to-the-point personality. He helps her wind down and in general keeps her from reaching cataclysmic levels of stress. Chufa also has learned to read her crest movements perfectly, so with him she can always express herself to the fullest. At times, however, it is Chufa's carefree and lazy attitude that gives Faralysa massive headaches, and it is not uncommon to see her give a piece of her mind to the lazy Tundra, which is an amusing sight with her monotone voice. Chufa, however, finds these encounters terrifying.
Being logical and reasonable, she has ordered The Clan's Head of Science, Ninimirizipi, to come through her, and ONLY her if there is an invention that needs approval to manufacture. For most of the time, Ninimirizipi comes up with crazy, and more often than not, dangerous ideas that Faralysa cannot simply allow. She also has strictly banned her mate, Chufa, from giving permissions to Ninimirizipi without her direct consultation, for Chufa has a habit of getting too excited about Ninimirizipi's crazy ideas. Despite this, she respects Ninimirizipi and allows good ideas through and gives as many resources to develop them as the inventive Spiral could ever hope for.
Faralysa herself tends to avoid conflict, but if it comes down to it, she uses classic Fae tactics: Blast the opponents with a maelstorm of magic. Thanks to her powered packs, she has more reserves to her disposal than a Fae would naturally have, an example of a good invention of Ninimirizipi.
( I lucked out with my random progen as she immediately rolled into gorgeous colors, well suited for the golden attire she has been given. I might give her a custom skin as well. )
