If it's not, with his vast knowledge, he sounds like a very good strategist and would not let anyone make a wrong move. He'd be the one to lighten up the group. She could hold her own as well if need be. She may look nice, and she is, but she can have the wrath of a thousand Suns if someone she loves gets hurt. He'd be able to do heavy tasks, no matter what it was. You need a box lifted, he's got you. You need a spider killed, show him where it is and he'll dispose of it. He also has knowledge of simple medicine, he's had to patch himself up many times.

She would try to warn the others, but they may not all take heed. Early preparation and an edge in future sight will keep Perdita safe. His skills would help in rebuilding a lair, as the dragons who survive will find themselves in need of creature comforts. Also, with such an evil personality, she wouldn't hesitate to kill others to help insure her own survival.
