Anyway! The brother appears to have a secondary? Why so he does. Too bad the RNG I'm using for this legacy decided to roll a 1 for the heir. On the other hand, I like Taamusi's colors better. I hatched too many anniversary gen-1s, so the consort will have to wait a few days while I try to sell some dragons, or give up and exalt them. I've actually been doing pretty well at selling dragons the last few months; Suture from Plague generation 8 just sold, and it doesn't even look like he's going to end up as a Gaoler! Personally I think the white / red / black look would work pretty well for Gaolers, but I haven't decided if I'm going to convert any of them myself. It is, however, "common" in rarity (which means it has the best chance of being passed down it can get vs. basic) and it was the only choice on the AH if I also wanted a chance of breed upgrade and colors in the general area I've been aiming at. It actually came down to a choice between her and two sisters, with her winning based on color range with Taamusi.

The first, is that I made it a rule for myself when I joined Flight Rising and discovered that the elemental eggs had achievements, that I would never purchase an egg until I had earned its achievement either through scavenging or the coliseum. [b]Today my unhatched elemental egg achievements are complete.[/b] The first two of these were earned on 2014-11-11 and 2014-11-12, and were the Fire and Nature eggs, respectively; that is why Fire and Nature were the second pair of legacies in this challenge! (The first two founders were actually purchased from the sales forums; I was pretty much a newbie back then, so my primary criteria for choosing those founders was "cheap.") The other big deal, of course, is that with the discovery of the earth egg, I finally have a founder of every element! To celebrate, I went ahead and hatched the "earthling..." and the RNG capped off my celebration by giving him Faceted eyes! Alas, it will be a while for him... Ice / Water will be the next pair of elements. With both of the current legacies waiting for imperial and coatl cooldowns, the next pair will probably start in about two months, so...mid to late August? Legacy challenges take a lot of time!

This is the same legacy that gave me Blepharitis and Tachycardia back in [url=http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/1270742/8#post_25152318]Generation 2[/url]. Apparently the RNG just hates the plague bloodline. Seriously, people, you have no idea how tempted I was to revolt on this one. In fact...I'm still tempted. I think what I'm going to do is find the best mate I can, finish the legacy officially with the official heiress... and then pair the perfect spare with the same mate, and see what happens. I must be doing something right, though, because several members of the previous two generations have been bought and incorporated into plague clans! [b]Oh wow, this will be the dragon that fathers the heir![/b] Taamusi and Cloudy gave me four eggs, and the RNG picked the last one. I called him Nuna, from my severely dwindling list of names - I have no idea what I'm calling his sisters, yet, I'm completely out of female names. Not only do we FINALLY have a secondary (thanks random.org!) but he's also an XXY double! To be fair, if I was using the site RNG for this legacy, I still would've gotten a triple-gened heir this generation. None of the sisters were doubles, but they all came out pretty beautiful in their own ways. I'm a particular fan of the color combination on that last one (Midnight / Heather / Thistle). It was just a really good clutch! This would be sorta unfortunate in terms of leaving shadow colors behind, but my goal just says "dark colored" not [i]purple[/i]. I also like the idea of the final shadow heir ending up with actual camoflage-type genes, which python/morph definitely are. All in all, it was basically this or accept that the final heir was most likely going to be a carbon copy of his father (unless she turns out female, of course; I'm hoping not a female Imp though). Going for that 1% chance of picking up a gem gene is all well and good, but it's already a rarity upgrade just going for phython/morph. To be frank, I care more about getting rid of the bright white in Paint than I do about the points [emoji=nocturne winking size=1] I even put Nocturnes back into consideration for this last generation (along with Coatls and Wildclaws for the possible breed upgrade), but eh, Wildclaws turned out to be the ones with the right genes - both of my two final candidates were WCs.
