Hello, Flight Rising!
I came up with this idea a while ago, and at the time I just posted it in the lightning flight forums. I figure it'd be fun to share it with the rest of the site and see if anyone else is interested in trying it out!
This is a breeding challenge called:
The Dice Roll
How it works
Participants go to the predict morphology page, get a random dragon, and see how many generations it takes to breed that dragon.
There are three levels of difficulty for the challenge:
Hard Mode
-You must use the first dragon you get on the predict morphology page
-You must start with a plentiful gen 1 + a mate with only one gene
-Your mates from the second gen onwards can have three genes
-You must immediately exalt any hatchlings that you do not use as your legacy heir
-Your final dragon must be exactly the same as your template dragon
-Your final dragon does not have to be the same element as your template
Medium Mode
-You must use a basic plentiful dragon, but it does not have to be gen 1 + a mate with two genes
-You can refresh the predict morphology page up to three times and pick your favourite dragon
-Your mates from the second gen onwards can have three genes
-You must exalt or sell any hatchlings you do not use as your legacy heir
-Your final dragon must be the exact same genes and colours as your template dragon, but can be any gender
-Your final dragon does not have to be the same element as your template
Easy Mode
-You can use a plentiful dragon with a secondary gene to start out + a mate with two genes
-You can change any two things about the first dragon you get on the predict morphology page
-Your mates from the second gen onwards can have three genes
-You can do whatever you like with the hatchlings you do not use as your legacy heir
-Your dragon must either have the same genes or the same colours as your template heir, but both is not required
-Your final dragon does not have to be the same element as your template
If you're interested in the challenge, post your progress! Show us your template dragon and what you're breeding, and in the end, tell us how many generations it took!
I'm going to try to do the Medium version. Here is who I got as my template dragon:
I've got my first nest ready to hatch in two days!
