This next review is for @Toshi 's lair! Sorry it's late! [b]At First Glance: [/b] AWWW YISS, another Fire Flight member, and with a Venerable Lair! You do our mama proud, Toshi. I love the quote on your Clan Profile: [quote]A lair where everyone is hot, even the ice dragons.[/quote] My kind of lair. There are so many GREAT colors going on on the first couple pages of this lair, and then you get to page three and IT'S GREAT TOO because there are so many fantastic earth tones and great outfits to match and MMMM I LOVE IT. Continuing on brings more colorful dragons into view. I love the breed diversity here! It's rare to see a lair as big as this with such a nice range of both colors AND breeds! Excellent! [b]A Closer Look: [/b] Like I briefly mentioned before, the outfits on the dragons here are great compliments to their look and colors. You can tell their attire was picked with care to perfectly match or contrast nicely, and Toshi definitely knows how to go about such a task. I'll get more into this discussion when I show you my favorites here; the outfits on those dragons SHINE. I also made sure to read up on which dragons were project dragons that were going to get gened up soon, and I must say they're going to look spectacular when they are! Great choices for great dragons! I have to gush about page three again, I'm sorry. I love the eath-toned dragons with names like Draught, Mojave, Gobi...just...yessss. Themes are wonderfully fun to me! [b] Suggestions: [/b] Toshi has a lot of dragons that are going to get gened-up soon, so it was an adventure looking for one that wasn't already on the list that I thought would benefit from a little extra tert-parading! BUT I DID IT! I found Inferno. Bad joke. Shame on me. ANYWAY, I'm not usually a big fan of Tundra ladies BUT I LOVE ALAS! She's like some sort of fluffy cyborg! Her outfit is perfect for her, and goes so, so great with her colors! It's not interfering with her circuit at all, and even her eyes match! What a wondrous fuzzball! I think his basic primary and secondary work really, really nicely with his lovely red circuit, and his apparel goes so wonderfully with it all! I don't think I've ever seen a Warrior Face Mask look so perfect on any dragon, and it IS JUST SOOO PERFECT for Hymnal! And the subtle way the headwrap hangs down on either side behind that mask and frames his spooky little Fae face? I love it! Seriously, his apparel: the green and yellow birdskull gear over his gorgeous Carribean wings, the faded headband? It's the best. And I love his matching Carribean underbelly, too, and his Wind eyes! His colors are so, so perfect together, and he simply exudes personality! Plus, I have a soft spot for noodle dudes. Look at that excitable grin. Phytobay's probably thinking about catching that next gnarly wave! [b]In summary: [/b] Please, everyone, do yourselves a favor and check out Toshi's lair! It's full of lovely dragons with lovely dragon colors and lovely dragon clothes, and I can hardly wait to see what those project dragons are going to look like when they've got their genes zipped up all nice! This next review is for @Mariester 's lair! Sorry it's late! [b]At First Glance: [/b] A lovely little lair nestled in the Zephyr Steppes, Mariester's lair is full of adorable dragons! I see lots of Faes here, as well as the start of what's definitely going to be a great color range across the board. A lot of dragons here are waiting for names, and judging by the already-named dragons, I can only assume the names that will grace these currently nameless dragons will be truly spectacular! I'm seeing a great deal of color combos here that I adore, too! I love it! [b] A Closer Look: [/b] I went to check out the nesting grounds here, and I must say I'm STOKED to see the hatchlings that the pairs there produce, especially Zephyr and Rhyvia! Speaking of Zephyr, I know I mentioned the whole names thing just now, but a closer look at the dragons made me appreciate the names in this lair even more. Zephyr is a lovely little Wind Fae, what a fitting name for such a perfect little dragon! And Rhyvia just sounds COOL. If this was Mariester's progen pair (this is my guess, since they're both First Gen), they came out PERFECT FOR EACHOTHER. [b]Suggestions:[/b] It took a while to pick a dragon here to make suggestions for, since there are so many with such great potential and lovely terts, but I finally zeroed in on one in particular that I really love: Aurelio! I think she'd look really great any number of ways, it would honestly be a challenge to make her unappealing in any way! Either way, she's a treasure! You probably saw this coming, but how could I not love this little guy? He's a tiny Fae IN SHINING ARMOR. Sure he might look cute, but I bet he can lay the smack down on even the biggest of Guardians or Imperials. After all, HE IS LEVEL TWENTY FIVE. Look at this beautiful man! I love his colors together so much, it's insane. I don't see enough Stone primary, so I get super excited when it's on a dragon as lovely as this. I especially love how fitting his pet is for him. Just Rashid and his Venemous Torridae, ready to take on the world! Look at her adorable little pink bow! Look at her precious pink rose! Look at her shiny copper bangles! She's darling! Her Light eyes bring the copper bands she wears out SO WELL, and even though she's a double basic with no visible tert, it doesn't make her any less loveable. She'd look great with or without genes, and that, to me, is wonderful. [b]In summary:[/b] Mariester's lair is a hidden treasure! I'm so glad I got to check it out, and I can't wait to see those nests hatch and those wonderful dragons named! It's well worth a visit, and there are many more eye-morsels that await any visitor that makes the wise decision to swing on by the Steppes!

Next up is @Flamebird! Here's your Trio Review! [i]It was so hard for me to just pick three, but I managed somehow! Look at his waitcoat. Look at his tiny top hat. And please, PLEASE LOOK AT HIS THRESHER FLATFINS BECAUSE WOW, that is what sold me on him. Little flapflaps on his head. I love him. I love that his circuit matches his eyes and his FINS. I love his fancy getup. Julius makes me want a Snapper of my own. He is glorious. What's not to love? I adore her Shadow Speckle, how it's a little black and a little purple and makes her look so wonderfully Halloween-y! I love her Sunshine Seraph and her Orange Underbelly, they go so perfectly together and compliment that Shadow excellently! And her pet is PERFECT for her. His colors, obviously. The way Fire and Aqua look together is a delight, and with a solid Primary like Soil to hold it all together? MMM! Beautiful! I don't see many dragons like Mystify, and he's both beautiful and unique! 2. His outfit. Rather,[i] his outfit's backstory[/i]. Listen to this, because it is gold: [quote]oh no he looks really awesome in the shackles, will the shackles look okay with a white top hat later? maybe we can say he's an escape artist (but not a good one or else why would he still be in the shackles).[/quote] I. LAUGHED. Mystify is perfect. Never change, Mystify. Never change.

Next is @Haisyn 's lair! Off we go to the Reedcleft Ascent! [b]At First Glance: [/b] Haisyn's lair feels a lot bigger than it is, somehow! I don't know why I get that feeling, exactly, but it's there and it's awesome! Also, I absolutely love that the Windsinger has like...five thousand different nicknames: [quote]Praise Be To Our Hot Dad, The Great Noodle Above All Noodles, Almighty Windsock, Lord of the Windsong, Master Flute Guy, Mr. Fabulous Mist-Maned Casanova, Majestically Fluffy Cloudbro, Emperor of the Seven Skies, Grand Dudemeister Windsinger.[/quote] Good. Going in, I see a huge color range on all pages, as well as a great range of breeds and GREAT outfits! I See some of these dragons MUST be members of the Eyeburner's League, and that, to me, is the greatest treasure of all. [b]A Closer Look: [/b] AWWW YISS I see those little golden stamps on the obvious offenders. I hate everything about them. Why do I love them? HOW CAN I NOT?! RetinaKiller and CannotUnseeMe are national treasures. Haisyn's Coli team looks GREAT, and as always, I love seeing clearly defined project outlines for dragons that need changes/genes, etc! I love the themed dragons here; I see lots of Chocobo Wildclaws and other Final Fantasy flap flaps! I love how Moogle-y you were able to make Moogle look! A lot of the apparel in here is themed to fit either the dragon's name or to compliment the colors, and it looks wonderful! Great outfits for great dragons! [b]Suggestions: [/b] I already made note of the fact that there are a lot of project dragons here; Haisyn's got the bases covered! However, I thought I'd give my two cents on the matter of Komorebi's tert, since that seems up in the air (HEH...wind puns...) at this point! The reasoning there being that it'll interfere with his outfit less, and I think it'll play nicer with his Seraph wings! [b]My Favorite Dragons: [/b] DEUS TIGRIS IS A DELIGHT [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=270628] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/2707/270628_350.png[/img] [/url] LOOK AT THAT GREEN AND PURPLE FESTIVAL MMMMHMMM YES PLEASE! I wouldn't expect Tiger and Circuit to work so nicely together, but they definitely do here, and the accessories bring the look to the pinnacle of excellence! The pinnacle! I don't have any Fae dragons of my own, but Faes like DeusTigris make me want to save up for about five billion more lair expansions just so I can have a tiny flapflap army of my own. HARBINGER?! Her attire is perfect for her coloration, and I love her bio! The ram horns and the birdskull headdress are THE BEST IDEA EVER, and having the other birdskull attire there just ties it all in in such a masterful way! I generally love Halloween-y looking dragons, I'm a huge sucker for oranges and blacks/greys together, and Harbinger is [i]amazing. The name. The outfit. THE HAIRY FEET. THE FEET WERE THE DECIDING FACTOR HERE. There were honestly a lot of dragons here I could have picked to be my favorites, but I chose Hobbit because...LOOK AT HIM. WEEP TEARS OF JOY, YE ONLOOKERS. That, my friends, is perfection. [b]In summary:[/b] My adventure to your Hot Dad's domain was indeed a glorious one, and I recommend going on a journey of your own to view its delights! Haisyn has obviously put a lot of time, planning, and dedication into making such a lovely lair a reality, and I can't wait to see it continue to grow and change!
