Hello dragons of Sornieth! I am Icarian! I am starting this log to document my journeys through this fascinating planet that my ancestors have been orbiting for years. I was born on the orbit of Water, yet it is worrisome to know now that the deity, Tidelord is missing! I do hope during my travels I will be able to uncover clues to where the Tidelord went. Yet my main focus is to just learn what my ancestors have been missing out!

When the The Astrolab was descending rapidly to the planet, my brother, Pollux, and I had taken one of the escape pods that were broken off to crash to safety. Which we both have ended up in the forests of the lush home of Gladekeeper! The clan that retrieved us and brought us in would be called The Allay Clan. Suiting name for what has happened to us and many other residents beforehand.

The guardians I was assigned to was Salem and Citrine..It is quite interesting that a dragon from another clan comes to visit so often. Perhaps the two really do find interest in each other? Pollux on the other hand was lucky enough to be taken in my Duchess! The Queen of The Hive! I have to say he had hit the Roundseypot! Why? Because there is so many bees and honneeeyyyy. I am happy though that he brings a lot of the riches of The Hive as a gift to me once in a while.

Anyways- I hope I will be able to reach to many dragons and clans with interesting information and amazing stories of my tavels! Stay safe and be adventurous!

He said that he was going to keep it as a messy sketch because I couldn't stay still and couldn't stop eating the bugs. Like- how can you stay still when there's a piece of food on your nose, and it can flutter off?! Eventually Artis had to put a fake butterfly on my nose...Yet that didn't stop my stomach from rumbling. Now it was a butterfly, that couldn't move. Of course I knew it was fake but my rumbling stomach acid said otherwise!...I may have ate it when Artis finished. My first entry and I have to show this picture that Artis drew for me! He said that he was going to keep it as a messy sketch because I couldn't stay still and couldn't stop eating the bugs. Like- how can you stay still when there's a piece of food on your nose, and it can flutter off?!

Eventually Artis had to put a fake butterfly on my nose...Yet that didn't stop my stomach from rumbling. Now it was a butterfly, that couldn't move. Of course I knew it was fake but my rumbling stomach acid said otherwise!...I may have ate it when Artis finished. I think he really captured my eyes though!

Wildclaws
I figured the best thing to study here at the clan first is the native species here and perhaps the clan's lore itself! Which last night I went to the wildclaws that inhabited the clan. What I have found was quite interesting. For a species of nature dwelling dragon of this modern day are quite...Primal? I am unsure how you would put it. The Allay Clan itself is quite modern with its technology so it was interesting to go to a more tribal setting. Yes tribal is the better term instead of primal.

I was almost clawed when I was arguing with an older wildclaw- kind of have to be careful haha. Yeah don't argue with a wildclaw who is really with their traditions it might end up with you a talon in your face, so I heard.

Some interesting notes I took I can put here!:

They originated from the Shrieking Wilds
The clans that are primarily wildclaws often fight with other clans
The hierarchy revolves around physical might and hunting
"might makes right" which I don't really agree with but I won't encroach
Wildclaws of lower rank are expected to take up jobs to help the higher ranks enhance their beauty
Larger families apparently give higher rank or status
Wildclaws hunt and fight either alone or in pairs

I have been trying to look for any evidence of Tidelord yet sadly nothing yet. But one of the undertides of The Allay Clan managed to fish this lil one up! I did some research and they are called a Water Sprite! So suiting!

Aren't they super cute?! I love them! I did have a bookworm but I figured having two paper craving researchers would be a bit much and would delay my work. I am unsure what to name them yet but they will soon join me on my adventure to Arcane! I have a few pit-stops along the way and this sprite will be following with!

[Size=4]I already started my travels away from the Allay Clan since my brother, Pollux, seemed to be busy adjusting and learning from Duchess in The Hive. Which I honestly don't mind, there's a lot to learn on this world! My travels through the great Worldedge Wetlands are pretty interesting and my tail has been coming into good use...So would my comb..I do admit the marshes bring lots of life but it also brings a lot of nasty messes. Plus tasty bugs! I have to admit I have ended up in the mud a few times and had to find a river outside the marsh to wash off and detangle my fur. While bathing I managed to get some fish for a snack with the help of my sprite friend! They are so helpful. Then from there I continued on my travels to head off to explore! ----------------- [center][img]https://i.imgur.com/aTALXbu.jpg?1.jpg[/img][/center] [Size=4]It wasn't long until I came across a sweet aroma while at the Behemoth..Following the scent, I encountered a very friendly snapper. They were dressed perfectly for their sweet serving job. Which would that sweet serving job would be giving ice cream! I have learned that snappers are excellent on telling stories and facts so I had to take the opportunity to learn from this snapper. I learned from them that their name was [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/79009795]Nepolitan[/url] and they had a lot of interesting information of their past and in general info of the area! I learned that he wasn't always a sweet serving snapper but instead a great and powerful warrior in IceWarden's domain! That's amazing! They had traveled very far! Nepolitan settled down to make yummy treats for many others after learning to make it and to feed others in need. He learned to make ice cream from a nomadic group of Longneck, learning how to make the [i]best[/i] ice cream in Sornieth! Excuse my absence lately, I have been gathering information of what's the best route to travel to the Arcane clan I am heading to. I have been recommended to go through the Earth territories due to the kind and relaxed nature of them. Yet I have already wasted some time staying in the Nature territory I must make haste.

When I made haste, I decided to cut through the Shadow territory, and I have to say I was not prepared for the dark it brought. Yes, I am equipped with excellent eyesight for the territory but even then, the dense fog made visibility incredibly difficult. My sprite hid away inside my bag, also afraid of what lurks within the shadows here. The dragons who live and who were born here certainly have a better grasp of the environment. It would make sense why the aethers that were born in the Astrolab on the rotation of shadow were excellent for any dark areas' others cannot get to. Especially when it comes to Shadow's energy.

Eventually I have truly found an area where I thought was inhabited by dragons was instead empty. The moonlight guided me through the territory and showed only traces of the dragons who once were there. The life there was filled with bramble thorns and the soil was rich with nutrients...It seemed it was perfect place for dragons to live. Yet there was hardly any evidence of what happened to the dragons who lived there. I couldn't help but just leave the area and continue on. It was almost a nightmare where you couldn't wake up from and a nightmare that was too calm.

Shadow is a territory not to take lightly. Come well prepared and with friends by your side. The times I ran from shadows and sounds were immeasurable.

[size=4] Whew! The Shadow Territory was scary to traverse but I am finally at the territory I am supposed to be at! Arcane! This specific territory houses my ancestors' deity and also The Allay Clan's (the clan I currently house) closest ally. The two clans work together to deliver supplies to each other to complete projects and keep each other from the muck of trouble. The clan that calls Starwood Strand home would be filled with kind dragons! Salem is planning to finish up a project back at Nature before joining me. He did say before I went, to go to Citrine for the meantime. Which I have to remember to be a little weary of due to their... Strange ability. Beforehand though; I was struggling to navigate the Arcane territory. I had thought I remembered it by memory but it would seem that the magic filled territory tends to change paths. So, I was both lucky and unlucky to meet this little fellow.
