Oh HELLO?? I hatch an egg after getting Meat Cakes from Roundsey and I'm met with this lil baby <3 Handsome chunky ice cream lad, I love him so much! Quote is allegedly from Ben & Jerry's but idk.

I combined Mibella's Antique templates together to bring facets of Neo's story together. He's a Snapper (Earth species) who travels to Ice and then Nature. And the text is Shadow cos of his element cx

Met a fun little Aether pal in Icarian's Journal Entries!

ARTISTIC NOTE: Though he dresses sweet, his appearance bears remnants of his old life. He has a barrel-chested physique (kinda like a buff shot putter), scars and is overall ragged & tanned underneath his new apparel. His former outfit is linked in the bio!

Neopolitan was once a mighty adventurer with a fearsome appearance. Feared by many foes (dragon or otherwise), he travelled Sornieth far and wide in search of greater and greater conquests, and eventually amassed a great fortune.

Over time, though his hoard grew bigger and bigger, Neopolitan began to crave a different kind of challenge. He was tired of moving from place to place, fighting battle after battle and discovering things for which he was seldom given credit. Not one with imperialistic interests, he wanted to find another way to consolidate his growing estate. He sought refuge in a quiet corner of the Southern Icefield to muse over his options.

While there, Neopolitan ambled across the landscape. Occasionally, dragon clans would offer him shelter in return for sentry duty, but he was never offered a place to stay. Eventually, he stumbled across a nomadic group of Longneck. These folk were more amicable and respected his company. They taught him their sacred art of ice-cream making in exchange for living expenses and protection, since the nights were beginning to grow long and dark.

When he and the Longneck separated, Neopolitan used his new skills to support himself during the worst of the winter months. He served ice cream to any traveler that passed his tiny camp, though he had to sell off most of his hoard to make ends meet. He did insist however on keeping key items, like an ornate kettle and cup set lifted from a Tengu village, as mementoes.

News of the tasty frozen treats soon spread far and wide, and come summertime Neopolitan found himself with a budding group of customers. His craft helped many dragons see him as less of an imposing figure and more of a friendly face. His booming laugh that once echoed out from his barrel chest and straight through his enemies now made even the smallest child giggle. Neopolitan found this intriguing, as many he had come across during his wandering days regarded him with a noticeable amount of fear. He preferred this newfound angle of admiration though. There was great joy in becoming an ice-cream maker, it seemed. He could finally think of putting his days of conquest behind him.

However, as he well knew, cold treats in a cold land can only go so far. When autumn began, Neopolitan didn’t fancy spending another winter barely scraping by. It was time to find more temperate climates. Packing up, Neopolitan bid farewell to the Domain of the Icewarden and set off on one last journey. He made for greener pastures and sunny shores, eventually settling down in the Viridian Labyrinth. He carved out a cosy little nook for himself in the roots of an old tree, set up his shop in a nearby shady thicket, and has been there ever since.

~*~

Gone are his robes of war, replaced instead by robes of silk and lace. He also sports a lovely hat to keep the sun at bay. His stand is very popular and dragons travel from near and far to get a taste of sweet, icy goodness. During closing hours, one can find him keeping fit through daily nature hikes rather than fisticuffs. If one was ever to be invited to his lair however, one would notice that the mementoes he kept from his old life are still on display. Each item is carefully polished and maintained, just in case Neopolitan needs to teach a thief or vandal what for! As the saying goes, old habits die hard.

Some say that if you press the right buttons, offer the right price and spin a story with enough intrigue...the old man might just come out of retirement for a bit.

Of course, the kettle and cups take pride of place on his mantlepiece when he’s not using them. He is proud of them especially, and rightly so. They make an excellent brew after all.

aTALXbu.jpg?1.jpg Neapolitan ice cream, also sometimes called Harlequin ice cream, is a type of ice cream composed of three separate flavors (vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry) arranged side by side in the same container, usually without any packaging in between.

Neapolitan ice cream was named in the late 19th century as a reflection of its presumed origins in the cuisine of the Italian city of Naples, and the many Neapolitan immigrants who brought their expertise in frozen desserts with them to the United States. Spumone was introduced to the United States in the 1860s as Neapolitan-style ice cream. Early recipes used a variety of flavours; however, the number of three moulded together was a common denominator, to resemble the Italian flag (cf. insalata tricolore). More than likely, chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry became the standard for the reason that they were the most popular flavours in the United States at the time of introduction.
It is the first type of ice cream to combine three flavours. The first recorded recipe was created by head chef of the royal Prussian household Louis Ferdinand Jungius in 1839, who dedicated the recipe to Fürst Pückler.
