Moon 101
I'm gonna say yes, as long as you're okay with me characterizing him how I'd like to in the locke still as I had several longstanding plans with this fella ^^
Moon 101 - Lore
"Good evening." King Crimson hums, regarding Jeremy coolly. His scarlet eyes run over Jeremy's form quickly, before assessing the room behind him. He nudges Nikolai, and his massive staff glows as he does an assessment of the room around him too, from the perspective of Love magic, and then Nikolai scries the room with his own Arcane abilities. In that single move, King Crimson and Nikolai now know the relationship every cat in this room has with one another, will have, and have had.
"Can I.... offer you and your friends in for a dance?" Jeremy muses. "We're, ah...holding a ball. For my....son." He glances back at Teo, who's dusting himself off and motioning for a cat Jeremy can't see to dance with him. "And his....ghost girlfriend, I think."
"...Ah." King Crimson hums, looking over at Teo, who's now gawking at the visitors. Everyone is. The doors are wide open, and all dancing has stopped, all music has stopped, and all are staring at King Crimson, his three friends, and the massive wall of cats behind him. And this wall is definitely massive, standing abreast ten cats each, and the wall of said cats stretches all the way out of the Kingdom's boundary lines.
King Crimson is no joke.
"You know, I'd love to, but, I'm here mostly on business. Visiting an old friend, assessing the land --"
"Please, we insist. Just one dance - you and your friend, perhaps?" Joy, tired and dirty approaches, but she understands the scope of the situation, and how necessary this might be. "You both look like you haven't gotten a chance together, wouldn't that be lovely?''
King Crimson and Nikolai glance over at one another. Nikolai, tired, old, but a sparkle in his eye at the thought of dancing in this castle. King Crimson, immortal, unshakable, a twinkle in his eye for being able to dance with his best friend in the whole world.
"I'd...be honored, old friend." Crimson stammers, and Nikolai chuckles, rising to his paws.
"Why not," Nikolai hums. "Never danced before." He looks at King Crimson, does a deep bow, and offers his hand.
"May I have this dance?"
Jeremy, Joy, and Teo all get front row seats to King Crimson visibly - yes, visibly - blushing, as he takes Nikolai's paw.
"I....would be honored, friend."
The music starts up again, and the dance floor parts so Crimson and Nikolai can dance.
The two strange cats here exchange a glance with one another, and the gray and white bicolored cat with the strange crown is the one to stand up, padding over to a potential dance partner.
"You look fun. You wanna dance?" She looks over at Mort, who perks up from his little forgotten corner of the dance floor, and he gives a goofy little smile.
"Huh? Oh! Me? You want, to dance with me?"
"That's what I said, handsome." Her words are monotonous, but kind. Mort seems to not mind the lack of emotion in her voice.
"I....would be supremely honored to dance with a princess like yourself." Mort scrambles, rising and then bowing to her. She offers him a paw, and he kisses it before even remotely rising to lead her in a dance. Even with one front paw, he'd make it work.
"It's Princess Emergence," She remarks, and a half-smile cracks across her features.
The white-and-ginger tom, still at the entrance, glances around at the rest of the cats with a bit of a disapproving stare. Many of these cats are weak...pathetic. Unamusing. That cat that showed up in his father's kingdom, though.... he could hardly get her sable cream visage out of his mind. She seemed tough. Like she could take care of herself.
He shook the thought from his head, and glanced around again. She wasn't here, she was back home, and unless she followed, there was no chance he was seeing her again. He looks at the flower-crowned one, and the woman next to him. She had a lovely black and white coat, and he puffs up a little bit.
Nothing quite like the power play of dancing with a King's Queen, eh?
"May I have this dance?" He mews, bowing to Joy.
"Huh?" She looks down at him. "I'm hardly in a state to be dancing, don't you think?"
"Didn't notice, my Queen. Only noticed your startling beauty and your lack of a dance partner."
"My....partner is my dance partner. Apologies, but no." Joy puts up a paw, and Bloodthorn nods. Disappointed, but understandable.
"Of course, your Majesty." He hums, looking around at the dance floor. Oh well, he'll try again. He approaches another girl, with eyes sparkling like the night sky.
"May I have this dance, my fair lady?"
"Huh? Oh, uh....." Stella glances around, and grabs nearby Sombra. "Sorry, I already have a dance partner!"
"No worries. Thank you for your consideration." Bloodthorn hums, and he looks around again. He approaches a grey-and-white she-cat, her eyes milky white.
"Hello, my fair lady, may I---"
"No."
"Okay, have a wonderful evening."
Bloodthorn decides that's enough rejection for one evening as he sits with his father's soldiers, sulking a little bit at how the night's going, and watches his sister dance. At least she's having fun. He hasn't seen her smile in forever.
