Most are well aware of the advanced cities that lie in and around the Turrets of Goldensparc, but many do not consider the possible trouble that run within the wires and through the desert landscape. Many also do not take notice of the hidden entrances in the bottom of the Carrion Canyon within the Shifting Expanse. Thanks to these entrances being well off the beaten path, it now homes a dragon clan. These entrances lead to endless tunnels that house the thick power-lines littered under the ground of the lightening territory as well as pipes to feed water into Goldensparc. Offshoots from these tunnels have been dug out and rooms have been carved to nest Rakuen. This clan has since moved in to feed off the land around them, making do with whatever they can find both under, and above, the ground which can even include taking things from others. When the land is tough, so need the dragons be. This specifically came to light when I had moved to lightning. After putting it off for several years, I finally found the motive and inspiration to finally begin proper work on this. [b]Why in Creative?[/b] I would like to share my lore and hopefully teach others about keeping safe online. I am also open to any questions people might have and encourage all to consider interest in the info sec world! :D From time to time I may open up sections for others to take part! If you would like to be part of my clan's lore, feel free to jump in. This may mean being part of a "security group" or being an "evil hacker". [b] Can you teach me to hack?[/b] This thread in no way shape or form condones hacking. This is for keeping safe only and how to protect you and those around you. This information will also display how a security team (blue team) would potentially function in the real world, but through dragons. I will not be teaching any red team tactics and will not condone any form of hacking or other forms of threat vectors. A very humble fighter who does not speak and seems to be the only one who can work along side Asgore. After spending countless years of his life moving from Ice to Lightning only to attempt to rebuild the clan himself for it to fall again, he knew doing the same thing over and over again was of no use. He was tired of losing, tired of seeing clan mates go, tired of everything around him seemingly in a constant state of collapse. If he was going to be the leader he was potentially born to be, he needed to make changes now, and fast. The Coatl’s first mistake was assuming he could just wing it. Most of the clan’s idea of living was just adapting and doing their best as things come their way. This often led to sudden and dramatic damages to both life and property. No amount of “just figuring it out” was ever going to pull them ahead. New enemies were beginning to arise, too. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/20948]Oki[/url] was unsure if this sparked due to the constant lay of fresh wires and lines, but “Dragons” of pure electricity seemed to be appearing out of nowhere. Honestly, the clan wasn’t even sure if they were seeing what they thought they were seeing. The leader paused in his thoughts, gazing out at the desert dark desert landscape. The stars above were also so bright and vibrant due to being so far away from the main city. Just behind him, flashes of lightning occasionally blink out the stars, only for them to come back into view. It was all strangely calming to him despite him not even being born local. --------- [b] Born from the Cold[/b] Out in the cold, wasteland of the arctic started the blossoming of a new clan. It was simply that of two, tucked away Gaoler doing their best to survive. They slowly grew, having more children and gaining new members, but nothing ever stayed the same for a very long time. Nothing except the surrounding cold, that is. Their clan's children were sent out into the world to fight and support as the little clan did their own best to stay out of the way from those larger factions around them. They would never seek any help and managed to survive happily on very little. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/8941]Prince[/url], being the Adam of the clan, had may hardships. He was never a good leader to begin with and was only seeking to raise a family with his love, [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/8942]Lilly[/url]. He always did everything in his power to skirt his responsibilities which sometimes put the clan in tight spots. It wasn't until [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/20948]Oki[/url] grew up, and was finally able to take over as the leader, did [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/8941]Prince[/url] finally get his chance to be free. Deep down, he felt bad for his son, as he too had no desire to lead, but the personality of his son far more fit the role than that of his own, and he did his best to continue to raise and support his son, family, and clan from a distance. What started as The Founders, quickly shrunk in numbers as a new era rose. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/8941]Prince[/url] found himself losing his friends and family to unimaginable battles. He knew if his clan did not get stronger, there would soon be nothing left of them. The two warriors of the clan, [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/18905923]Asgore[/url] and [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/19253692]Luccio[/url], held off well in fighting for their new smaller clan, but as the clan attempted to grow again, it proved too much to protect. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/8941]Prince[/url], along with his son, agreed that actions should now be taken further. He watched as his son grew stronger, but this made [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/8941]Prince[/url] feel even more worthless and pathetic. The Gaoler took it upon himself to find the perfect protection for him and his clan. He left his family and clan for sometime, scouting out the perfect candidates to represent their clan among others to ensure protection and peace. One big example is that the sizes I imagine the dragons in my head are probably far different than the actual dragons' sizes on the site or their profiles. [b]I found a typo or issue, can I correct you?[/b] Absolutely! I take all feedback and corrections, just please stay helpful and positive. I do not claim to be an amazing writer and just do this for fun. I honestly don't even expect anyone to really read any of this anyway and is mainly for displaying my clan lore. [b]You missed a dragon name or linked it wrong.[/b] Thank you, please let me know when I do this. I try to link to a dragon every time I mention them, but I may miss from time to time. This is so, even if someone wishes to start in the middle for whatever reason, they know who is being spoken about. As much as I hate to admit it, I am growing tired and need some outside assistance. I don’t feel that is too much to ask, seeing as you do owe us." [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/72729006]Zio[/url] frowned at this response knowing he owed the clan more than he could admit. The Coatl didn’t appreciate being treated like this, but excused the behavior as exhaustion. “I will help.” [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/72729006]Zio[/url] responds. “But you don’t need to treat me like property.” [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/20948#]Oki[/url] withdrew in into his hood displaying shame at his actions. We will figure out a plan moving forward and get everything sorted out. A slight warmth filled him and he began to relax. It reminded him of the times he felt happy and secure around friends. It reminded him of the friends he had and lost. The old warmth. Without any further words, the Leader nodded. No further words were spoken. Both Coatl left the main hall with low spirits despite the intentions of the meeting. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/72729006]Zio[/url] retired to his room to begin a plan. He already knew what needed to be done, but could they really pull it all together? He wasn’t even sure why [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/20948#]Oki[/url] was so worried to begin with. The clan was so small and most clans left them alone. What was he so afraid of? [b]The Plan [/b] To begin to understand how a clan should defend itself, it might be a good idea to understand how the [i]Intelligence Cycle[/i] functions. A clan does not need large numbers or simply strong members, but should hold understanding in jobs and team work. Not every dragon is good at everything and each dragon should play to its strengths. Zio began thinking hard of the first steps: [i]Planning and Requirements[/i]. He had little understanding of the clan as a whole and figured he should probably write up some questions he would like answered. Tomorrow, his task would be to go around asking everyone their thoughts. [b]Why are we doing this? What is our goal? [/b] Zio’s thoughts drifted in and out on this question. The main answer he understood from Oki was defense, but was that really all it was? Was there some greater goal of Rakuen he truly didn’t understand as a new member? [b]Den/clan requirements? [/b] Did others within the clan have other requirements moving forward? Surely not all dragons would think or feel the same way, right? What did they need along with their leader? [b] Land restrictions and laws? [/b] Did the Shifting Expanse, or Sornieth as a whole, have any laws they should be aware of? Zio laughed at this, thinking about how poorly most of the members within Rakuen behave. He didn’t believe they really cared about any land laws. [b]Most likely threats? Who might do us harm? And why? What enemies we have? [/b] Zio assumed the only answer for this was other clans, but he would ask around none the less. Maybe the land as well? Zio’s mind was growing tired and fuzzy. He set his quill down and pushed the parchment to the side of the rickety desk within his cave-carved room. The Coatl curled into the makeshift nest that was created for him and drifted off to sleep.
