Halls, really, the whole place was a maze-like structure of the water sages past. The mighty Nemben now gone, but not forgotten. The only thing left of the ruling family that traced back to what it once was before the island had been shattered, reborn by those that now called it home into Broken hook. Dirn turned as Hae noted the mosaic before her. “Is it Golly or Dir that holds fear?” Giggling at the sight of the male hanging back. His tail twisting and untwisting has he picked his way across the floor, nervous “We are not… I am…” Two voices indignant at that. Then Goll’s ring forth. Hae snaking her head under Dirn’s to draw her attention elsewhere. “Cautious.” The word purred in the face of Dirn’s laughter. “Always cautious. It is alright dear you are trained to be cautious.” Watching him puff up with a measure of pride at that statement. Caution had kept them both alive in the past through far to many scraps. “It is fine.” “So you don’t think the ghost of Nemben Halls is haunting the place.” A pause. “ I think that we take on the name of Nemben. Its Islands are under our purview and there is no reason for the history of these halls and the houses that once stood to be lost. We preserve, we grow, and thrive. We build a home. In time we move to these islands where they are most needed for the sages at large and… maybe one day I return home to the lands of the mother. For now though in the domain of the tide lord will be where we start.” “I’ll call for a scribe. Several.
