Tree of Knowledge Lore Shop
You enter a cavern brimming with warm light and herbal scents. You are not entirely sure how or why you came here; all you know is that you are here now. You take the time to examine the expansive room: lining one portion of the wall are hexagonal holes cut into it with scrolls shoved in. It reminds you of a honeycomb. The rest of the cave is filled with shelves occupied with books, candles, herbs, and other odds and ends that you couldn’t begin to guess the purpose for. Seems like a fire waiting to happen, in your opinion.
All of this pales in comparison, however, to the broad tree sprouting from the cave floor. You are not sure what kind of tree it is, but you are quite sure that it very well may be older than all of your ancestors combined. It is rooted in the stone beneath your talons, large cracks from the bulging roots spidering out. The leaves rustle gently, even though there is no breeze. You spread your wings, flying up to the branches for a better look. The tree’s branches are much thicker than your body, but the bark is soft and a little damp. It hums with something hidden that you cannot quite put your finger on. It is only then that you notice the coils of snakes occupying every branch like twisted carnival decorations. You yelp, leaping back in the air, and one of the snakes hisses.
You return to the ground and walk as far away from the tree as its monstrous size allows.
A dramatically colored Banescale sits behind a mahogany desk at the far end of the cavern. You greet her politely. She doesn’t respond, and continues looking into empty space with hollow eyes. You would have left at that point, had it not been for her striking eyes. There is nothing special about them in and of themselves, but you can tell that they hold something. Knowledge from antiquity and knowledge not yet acquired. You step a little closer, rapping her desk lightly to get her attention.
She starts suddenly, torn out of her unnatural trance. She looks at you as if you were an only mildly interesting story she was reading.
“You’re seven minutes late,” she informs you.
“Oh,” you reply. “Sorry?”
“No matter. Would you care for some tea?”

Hello!
This is a pay-what-you-want (pwyw) lore shop!
I will send you the lore you requested, and then AFTER I send it, you send me a 1-way CR with payment based on how happy you are with it. There is no limit as to how little you can give, as I know 20 gems may be a lot for one user while for another it may be a little. Keeping that in mind, my only request would be that you give something, if you do not think my writing is worthy of any payment then please ask me to rewrite it.
I can write bullet points about personality and backstory of a dragon, a story, or a one-sentence sort of theme-statement about them. If you want something that I didn’t list here, feel free to ask!
The general format for the lore I write is:
Quote:
dragon’s moral alignment here
one-sentence theme goes here or alternatively a quote.
Gjdhegrifhejfnejeo———story or lore goes here———fsrkjhfgsrghruh
