@excessnight Does Caelus strike your fancy? He is an integral part of my coli team and has taken many a dragon up the ranks to help better serve Gladekeeper, even though he is an Arcane (he's my Mire flyer). His bio is taken from one of my other coli dergs just to get the code on there (the lore on his bio belongs to the other derg). The three arcane-ish icons below the art do go with Caelus, and so does this part: • Wise • Respected • Observant • Dutiful • He | Him O C C U P A T I O N - Mægester Scholar

"To serve the deity is the greatest honor to any dragon."

"Then why don't you serve the Gladekeeper?"

A sad look crossed the older drake's face, but he plastered on a smile for his grandson.

"Because, little one, I am not worthy of her love. And to be unworthy of a god's love, is to be a disgrace to oneself."

Many years ago, when he was but a hatchling, Caesar remembered the conversation he had with his grandfather. Ajax had lived in a different clan than Phoenix, Caesar's mother, and so there was only a handful of times Caesar saw him. He was the only one he loved and trusted. His own parents were foreign to him, off in their own world of worlds. He never connected with the other hatchlings, his own siblings, and clanmates alike. A strange air floated around them that he could never figure out.

But that was all in the past, for here he was, safe and loved within his own home. One he vowed to protect until his last breath. The Wyrmwound was much different than that of the Beacon of the Radiant Eye. For one, the sun rarely broke through the clouds. Then there was the radiating sickness in the air and the thirst for blood. Caesar didn't mind any of that, though. It was better than where he'd come from.

As he stood guard for the night, watching over the barren land, another memory popped into his head. He tried to shake it off, but it kept pestering him.

"Run. Run as far as you can. They will kill you and there is no honor in that," Ajax urged Caesar. For the drake who never came near the Beacon, he was risking a lot.

"Why?"

"Because I know her. She will do whatever it takes to breed out the sickness," he whispered. To Caesar, this didn't make sense. Why? His mother wasn't sick, neither was any of his siblings. Why him? With a deep breath, Ajax looked deep into Caesar's eyes.

"A long time ago, your mother grew very ill. She had contracted the Plague from a dragon she was secretly courting. She healed remarkably fast, but when their first clutch hatched, she killed them. She said it was a mercy kill, so they wouldn't have to suffer. The Plague lives inside of her and always will, and to few of her children, it lives inside them as well."

"So, I have the Plague?" Caesar asked quietly, less concerned with his "illness" and more the fact of his impending death. "The clan would never allow her to do that. My father wouldn't."

Ajax merely shook his head, a tired look painted on his face, sorrow hidden beneath a calm exterior. "Little one, that clan exists to get rid of imperfections. They all have blood stained on their claws."

The memory faded away as Caesar dug his claws deep into the soil. His grandfather had been right; they did try to kill him. With the help of Ajax, though, he was able to get out. The elder drake even helped lead him through the darkness of the Driftwood Drag. Without having to ask or discuss it, Caesar knew they were headed to Plague lands. It took several days, as they did not fly to keep a low profile, but when they arrived, Ajax looked happy for the first time.

"If I could take you to my home, I would. But after what Phoenix has done, my clan leader would never allow it." Caesar nodded, understanding where his grandfather was coming from.

"Go. Be the warrior I know you to be. Make me proud." That was all the words Caesar needed.

Although the sun wasn't rising nor peeking through the miasm, the Imperial wasn't at all surprised to smell Cerebus approaching.

"Your shift is over, congratulations Caesar, you are now a warrior of Death Clan."

Although Caeser was born a Light dragon, no traces of the sun can be found anywhere. He spend much of his younger years and adolescence within the Scarred Wasteland. Unlike many dragons outside of the Plaguebringer's home, Caeser was born with the Plague. This allowed him to easily adapt to the thick, toxic air that surround him. Despite misfortunes in his youth, Caeser is a very kind dragon. He almost takes on the role of sweet, loving, older brother. A natural protector, born from a line of warriors, he fulfills his job well. Caeser is also well read in the sense that he spend a great amount of time reading, debating, and polishing others skills on top of his warrior training. Mostly quiet, Caeser prefers to sleep in a den a bit aways? a way from the clan. No one questions why and respects his privacy. Although he is loyal to the clan, he one day hopes to join his grandfather, Ajax, as a servant to the gods.

(sorry, i added more....)

Freakshow joined some Circus Mages and began to dabble in the black arts. It twisted him and drove him completely insane. Does he strike your interest? @excessnight

@excessnight There's a poem for him in his bio, but overall he's a total a-hole. He likes blood and other people's suffering and works as the clan's torturer when they have prisoners of war and need information. Pretty much a crazy dude lol

Though my clan lore is still in shambles [s](just little snippets here and there)[/s], my clan prides itself in collecting rare and ancient scrolls, texts, almost anything to put into their grand archive. Rather than enjoying and submersing herself in the knowledge gained from them, she instead takes joy in scavenging and raiding abandoned ruins for them. Her personality is a bit of a blank slate so feel free to take a knack at it if she interests you! c:

@excessnight feel free to have a look around my lair! anyone below spectre is open for lore. the only dragons closed are kinath (who's on the ah anyhow) and mairwen.

but if you feel like writing something for an existing character, feel free to look at the others as well, most have a personality or a clan role in place.

if not though no worries! good luck in your search!
