I will be changing flights to [emoji=lightning rune size=1]LIGHTNING[emoji=lightning rune size=1] before my next nests are bred for! This means existing Light eye hatchlings will be the LAST available unless I rent a nest in the future. However, no other eyes will be possible for Frigid Space hatchlings or those from Cryo and Jackdaw as those pairs include my progens.
This means until I sell enough to make 4 den upgrades, all of my hatchlings are discounted 15% if you pay in treasure! Ping me to set up a CR!
And
For owners of M (or silhouette scrolled) Rings of Trantor Hatchlings, you can now purchase an EXCLUSIVE Accent called Bite of the Empire by yours truly! These will only be available to owners of gen 2 offspring of Empire and Dominion! I also have a matching F pose accent in the works! Accents are 400g/kt for owners of existing hatchlings, and will be available as packages with new hatchlings for 500g/kt. [br]
What's up everybody? I used to have a hatchery back nine years ago but it was full of silly edgelord stuff. Do your pairs/hatchlings have lore?
Yes! Each pair has lore in their respective posts, and each hatchling will come with starter lore on their profile that you can add to (or remove!).
Do you breed on a schedule?
Literally, no. I breed dragons when I feel like it and/or when I remember their cooldown is up. That being said, I will still try to alert anyone who is interested that I have a nest cooking or new hatchlings.
What if I want matchy eyes?
With the exceptions of Ganthe and Cryo, my progens (and their mates), I don't mind sending my dragons to hatch out in other caves so you can have cool matchy eyes. However:

You are responsible for one part of the fee to rent the nest depending on how many eggs result. That cost will be added to your hatchling's total price. If there's only one egg, that's all you, buddy.

I reserve the right to have first pick just in case something really cool pops out

Usual extra fees apply for rarer eye/gene types, XYXs/XYYs etc.

If the eye type you want ISN'T going to result in something matchy, I probably won't go for it.
Will you do holds/reserves?
I mean yeah, sure. Message me to work out the deets, but I'm sure we can figure it out.
Do you take trades?
Most genes and breed scrolls are always welcome, and I may also consider swaps of certain familiars (kitties and ponies), accents or even other Gen 1/2 dragons. My wants are fickle and changeable.
Info: Ganthe is my progenitor, and I was exceedingly lucky to get a cool, fun, matchy tertiary on him. And, I'm sharing all of that luck with you! Ganthe (and Colden) have been through many iterations over the years, and were recently re-gened and scrolled into Obelisks. Colden will be getting a second gem-gene update before their second Obelisk-only nest, making their first nest extremely limited.
I am keeping one of them, and one was given as first-pick to someone, meaning there will only ever be one Gen 2 Obelisk available from Colden's first set of genes.
Lore:
[columns]
Once upon a time, they were different. Dark and cold were always a part of it, but separately. Life requires change. And the changes of their respective lives drove them together, for better or worse.
Ganthe, a powerful leader, a mighty warrior, a father to many. Colden, abandoned from before first breath. Outsiders, both, in a land where the Light reined supreme, but they still found happiness together, on the outskirts, after they gave everything, and everyone else up. And then the comet came.
It was a sight to behold, dark and cold, just as they were, but it was the sight of it that brought them too close to escape it. Spitting cold plasma, it rained down otherworldly energy that transformed everything it touched- blackened it all with ice and frigid crystal. Changed delicate features and fine bones to powerful, statuesque forms. He was hit with the worst of it, and first, an inky void of frigid darkness grew from where once he was only neutral shadow. He is never free of the constantly forming deadly ice that coats his new mane, or his great wings. Her transformation has been slower, though she is still immune to the cold that no one else could stand to touch. Her once-bright colors have faded and slowly crystalized. They were lucky, so lucky, that she had already begun tending that last nest before everything happened- those three hatchlings are surely the very last who have any chance to live outside the otherworldly cold that consumes their father, and clings to their mother. Each new life will carry that cold with them, but maybe the spark of Light from the land of their birth will keep it at bay just enough to feel even a little warmth.
The hatchlings born of this freezing, void-touched pair will sometimes be less effected than their parents, but will still bring their otherworldly cold to any clan that takes them in. Their familiars must be well suited to handle close proximity to them- Ice and Shadow familiars are best.
Apparel and Skins/Accents that accentuate their ice and crystal traits will help expound on their lore!

It's becoming more popular for families of fae dragons to affix these papercraft masterpieces to the branches of the trees they make their lairs on. The sight of them swaying and flapping in the breeze can be a warm and welcoming sight to travelers returning home.

This pair is extra special because not only will they make some sick Gen 2 babies, they have a possibility for three different XYX options - Aqua, Turquoise, and Spruce. Arcturus was also my first egg hatch since coming back! And, very rarely, they could pop out a little trans pride baby. Which I have dibs on the first one, obviously. What the hell are those things? I'm pretty sure those are plants! Plants with... plants with bones. Moving around and ugh. Disgusting. Aliens? Plants? Some sort of cat-dragon-shaped venus flytrap from the underworld? Look, I'm sure if you take one of these babies and raise it to not be horrible, it'll be fine. It'll be a perfectly sweet little carnivorous plant creature. Alien. Some of them are clearly more plant-y than others and some are clearly more... space-y. Maybe you have a preference? Anyway, just get them out of here before they make more!
Bringing home one of these... creatures... will be a bounty to your clan, but more than one might cause a little chaos! You might see an increase of beautiful, sentient plantlife in their vicinity! Lore-friendly Customization options and familiars will showcase beautiful flora and plant-inspired fauna!

No dynasty lasts until the end of time. We watch once great families die slow and lingering deaths every day, and this one is no different. When you no longer command great armies, no longer control vast wealth, you must marry your bleeding pedigree to someone else's to try and keep what fraction of your image that you can. And so Empire and Dominion have married their weaknesses to each other, looking to make a result that is greater than the sum of its parts (or parents). Their children are spoiled and neglected in turn, raised to believe in their own greatness and with little proof of it. Raised to decay in the shadow of their own ancestors' greatness. To attach, parasite-like, to anyone relevant or wealthy. To keep their jewels, silks, and the propped up ruin of their royalty from crumbling for just a little longer. You'd really be doing the world a favor to take one in, and raise it in reality.
As part of a decaying royal dynasty, Empire and Dominion's last avenue to cling to the appearance of wealth and respectability is to ally themselves with as many notable clans as possible. Their children are spoiled and elitist- at least at first. To keep up appearances, familiars and customizations should do all they can to imply wealth and status, even if there are some downsides that come with it.

They say that gods can be made from nothing at all, except to fill a need.
In the deep of the jungle, where it is dangerous to travel, there arose a need. There were no gods and no protectors, but those desperate for safety as they traveled through the dark, and treacherous paths still made their offerings wherever they could find a clear space. They still whispered their fearful prayers when things were too still, too quiet. When sharp teeth and claws, and deadly arrows were their only company.
In answer to all of those pleas, the silent and the screamed alike, the need was filled. We know not where they come from, for they move silently and stay only as long as they are needed. But, to those who are their most devout of followers, there will occasionally be a hatchling that bears a striking resemblance to those silent forest gods that finds its way into your clan. The protection of the gods, brought back to your own home.
Hatchlings that bless other clans will be brave warriors and protectors, drawing strength from the very earth and wind! Customizations and familiars that draw on the strength of the environment, or showcase a warrior's tenacity, are the most lore friendly!
One hatchling from each group will be retained and leveled to 25, and only offered once leveling is complete, for a higher price!
All payments can be made with Treasure or Gems, as well as a mix of the two! Gems are valued at 1:1000t, and I don't have a preference for one over the other.
I am Always looking for the following:
Modern Genes
Obelisk Breed Change Scroll
Aether Breed Change Scroll
Aberration Breed Change Scroll
Aether Genes
Aberration Genes
Modern Genes
Tri-Color Scatterscrolls
Vial of Scattersight
Unhatched Eggs

I may also swap for Gen One dragons I like particularly well or that would make a good mate for one of my unmatched Gen Ones in my cave.
I will also swap 1:1 for other fully gened Gen 2 dragon hatchlings that strike my fancy. There is no rhyme or reason to what I enjoy, so don't hesitate to offer! I especially love purples, pinks, blues, blacks, and greens.
I am less likely to trade for apparel, accents, familiars or other items, but it doesn't hurt to offer.
