Ice Crystal Unhatched Ice Egg

When the ice that fell from that horrible comet took hold of them, there was no going back. Even the eggs, already snug in their nest, were not safe from the creeping frost. Infected with a cold so deadly, only the strongest would survive. I was one of only three, and the only one left that could not leave. The ice has since taken my mother completely, and now I fear that any more siblings will bear their change fully. I must stay, and make sure that any others that are born can flee before they, too, fall completely to this alien cold.
