This is Eilwen.
A soft, brightly-colored, plushie Dragon with sinister intentions. Her goal is to craft one hundred- yes, ONE HUNDRED- plushie Dragons in her image with the goal to... well, have toy Dragons out-populate "normal" Dragons. She prefers that her toy hatchlings aren't exalted.
Build-A-Dragon lore snippets:
- Guardian Build-A-Dragons are not affected by The Calling and thus, will not take on a lifelong Charge.
- Each Build-A-Dragon has Stitched, Patchwork, and either Contour, Veined, Glimmer, Underbelly, Ringlets, Runes, capsule, or Lace as a tertiary gene.
- Each Build-A-Dragon Hatchling (and their qualifying offspring) inherently knows the recipe to create more of its' kind (listed in Eilwen's biography).
- Build-A-Dragon hatchlings tend to subconsciously alter the mental state of one adult Dragon within their line of sight into caring for them (the hatchlings) while isolating them (the adult Dragon) from family and friends until the hatchlings mature (they age like normal hatchlings). Note: Adult female Dragons, Guardians, and Pearlcatchers are more susceptible to being taken advantage of in this manner; especially if they are ready to breed. Once the hatchlings mature and leave their care-taker, their "host" is released from their spell with no memory of caring for the artificial hatchlings.
- Hosts of a Build-A-Dragon hatchling have a name given to them by a telepathic voice that they are to bestow to the hatchling upon first touching the hatchling.
- Build-A-Dragons do not require food or water; as they are nourished by any positive attention that is given to them.
- Build-A-Dragons are very weak to fire and large volumes of water but are immune to corrosion and having their colors fade over time.
- Build-A-Dragons have an ability to make "organic" dragons feel happy, safe, and relaxed in their presence; an ability that is often used to diffuse fights and to keep the Build-A-Dragon safe from harm.
- Build-A-Dragon hides are unable to be punctured or torn by tooth, talon, spear, or blade.
