Thank you so much for the input! Hopefully there will be a few more that like peregrine... it would be much cheaper than alloy! haha

@ShadyRabbit - I'm always in favor of not-matched genes, and I'm a big fan of treasure genes. Unfortunately, I think Sham himself looks much better with the rather understated gem genes. (I won't ramble the whys. It has to do with sight-lines and balance, and it's a lot of rambling about fashion and tricks your eyes play on you. And like all taste, it's subjective.) Personally, I think he looks AMAZING with shimmer since it plays so well with his runes, but bearing in mind that he's part of a pair you aim to sell kids for, alloy may be the most prudent choice.

Thank you for taking the time to give me your input. I think you're right about alloy being the best choice for him, even though shimmer looks nice. Obsidian shimmer definitely looks good with steel runes, but I don't think I want all of the kids to get shimmer. Looks like I'll be saving up gems!
