[center]Currently: OPEN/CLOSED/[b]HIATUS[/b][/center] [size=4]Welcome![/size] My name is Wendiferous (you can call me Wen, Whinnie, Wendy, window, waluigi, whatever makes you happy lol) I've been tossing around the idea of opening some form of an art shop lately but I'm not sure if I'm super ready to commit to the whole idea yet. But I have the drive to do some art right now, so I'm opening a temporary test shop to see how I manage! I'm exclusively a traditional pencil artist for now unfortunately so I'm limited to that medium. This shop won't function quite like other shops so please make sure to read the rules! [center][b][size=7]Da Rulez[/size][/b][/center] [LIST][*][b]This is not a first come first serve shop[/b]; I will pick the dragons that get my creative juices flowing. [b]I prefer dragons with apparel and/or skins[/b] for some visual interest, but excessive clutter can be difficult for me to get everything in (I do love the challenge of mixing apparel pieces to create a unique design though so don't be afraid of giving me some interesting layered outfits!). [*][b]I have absolutely no minimum on how much you feel like paying[/b], this way you lose nothing if I start an art and burn out on it or hate it before I finish lol That said I prefer gems (treasure is always good too) and you get to decide, when the art is finished, what its worth to you! This is mostly for fun so even people with low dragon funds have a chance at virtually free art! If you feel like paying via an art trade I would LOVE that, I'll never turn down free art! The first tab in my Hibernal Den is all my completed dragons so go nuts [*]This is an experiment in creative freedom so I won't promise an exact drawing. That is to say, [b]my designs change from art to art[/b]. I may draw a dragon headshot for one person and a full body gjinka for another. Or I may draw one dragon exactly as I see it, and then I may draw another who only takes [i]inspiration[/i] from the original design. It all depends on what my brain puts together when I see these dragons! [b]You can of course suggest what you'd prefer[/b] (like "I like the dragon art better than gjinka" or "can he hold the sword in his mouth?") but I'm not super great at drawing everything yet so if I can't get the detail right for my own mind then I may not add it. I'm sorry in advance if this happens! [*][b]I will not draw anything against the rules of FR and will flat out deny your request if I feel like it's disrespectful or hateful.[/b] I also only want to focus on flight rising characters for now because their sprites are easy for me to reference. If you have enough reference material for an OC I [i]may[/i] draw it, but I'm a bit rusty on non-dragons lol. Also the dragon does matter a little! [b]I'm best at Skydancers[/b], with Nocturnes also being somewhat easy for me to draw. I'm... alright at Tundras, Banescales, and Imperials and suspect that I can draw wildclaws fairly okay. I am abysmal at Coatls (which is a real shame I love them so much!) and snappers. I'll still give my lesser drawn dragon categories a shot, but be warned it may come out looking a little worse for wear. [*] [b]I prefer to be paid after I give the drawing[/b], again I don't want anyone to pay and then not get something they enjoy! This also helps me not to feel bad if I skip over your dragon for a little while. [*][b]You're free to add this art to any outside collections of your character arts[/b], just please please [i]please[/i] credit me. You can link back to my FR user page, this thread or if you prefer, you can link to Wendybird on toyhouse, or wen-the-barbarian on tumblr. [b]I will be posting anything from this thread to tumblr[/b] so you [b]shouldn't[/b] lose your art, but to be safe I suggest saving it to your personal device! Let me know if your character is on Toyhouse! I love linking art through there as well! [*]The completion time also ranges. I have some illnesses that burn me out really quickly if I'm not careful. Depending on how I'm feeling I can finish an art in a day or in a week. Sometimes if I'm particularly not feeling well, it can take me longer. I'll likely close/ hiatus the shop at these points and I promise I'll update you if this is the case. [*][b]You can offer as many dragons as you want![/b] And come back as often as you want (provided the shop is open)! Since this is a "I choose the dragon" art shop, the more you show me, the more likely I am to find at least one of them visually interesting.
