Anneliese was found by the clan during Night of the Nocturne. Like most orphan dragons, once her egg hatched she was left to fend for herself on the Lower Platform, though would still receive help from the various adults as well as her fellow orphans. But despite these circumstances, Anneliese wanted to be a princess. She was at the bottom of society, had no subjects, no castle to rule from, and no authority, but if she tried, perhaps she could achieve her dream one day. So she took to learning the ways of a princess. To bow to others out of respect, handle objects delicately, and behave as mannered as her young age would allow. The result, of course, was a polite and precious child that the Lower Platform came to enjoy. No one truly took her aims seriously, but everyone could respect the effort, and eventually she would be called things like The Princess of the Lower Platform. Though it was all in good humor, Anneliese felt that it put her just a little closer to her dream. Personality ྿ As a young child, Anneliese likes to pretend she's already a princess. She even introduces herself as such. Nonetheless, she never takes to ordering others about, and believes it her duty to aid the others. She understands it's all make believe, though others have wondered, and enjoys adding more to her princess story. She's offered Axel the positions of prince (through being her brother), and her royal knight, but he declined both offers. She loves stuffed animals, ribbons, and anything and everything frilly and lacy. |
