Hi sorry, I forgot to check FR!! Happy new year by the way!
Here's a reference pic of the character proper, but since her face will be covered up and I'd like different clothes, I think there's no use in me providing it, haha. But for your reference, this is Faustus:
Instead, let me try to explain my vision. I'm very flexible though and I'm very interested in what you come up with!
I'd like the character to be dressed completely in light colored burlap/canvas. I'd like them to have many layers of cloth on them until they're quite shapeless. The vibe of this, perhaps, without all the baubles (just lots of layers of single colored cloth):
Color-wise, something like this, maybe, but with pants (also big and baggy):
I'm thinking a cone or rectangle shaped silhouette would be neat.
For the mask, I'd like it also to be made of the canvas/burlap material, but to be shaped different than a normal human head. Possibly something with the silhouette of an armet:
Or something roughly bestial could work:
My main request is that the outfit and the mask shouldn't be too finely made; they should look handmade. The concept is the character's attempt at an intimidating battle outfit, which protects them from stray arrows and such, and makes them seem inhuman. I guess kinda like a scarecrow in a horror flick! I like the vibe of your third example ("behemoth.png") and the sense of "oh ****" that comes with it.
If you would like to draw props, you could draw her dangling a crossbow or a vial of a healing potion! I'd like the pose to not be too active (as opposed to like...tensely aiming the crossbow at the camera), to really hammer in that sort of eerie looseness.
Please provide me with a transparent background version of the art as well. And I would love to see a sketch since there's a lot of design going on! Let me know if everything looks good and I'll send the CR :0
