I don't get why people are complaining about Alloy. Just look at the wings on this Skydancer I scried.

Now that is one pretty gene.
Any gene can look good. I don't think there is one gene on this game that looks good on EVERY breed. So stop complaining that it looks bad on SOME breeds. Simply only buy or breed dragons with Alloy on the species you like. And auction the others because people who enjoy the gene will buy it!

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
@Windshear1
Its not necessarily the look of the gene, its the quality of the production of the gene and the difference in quality between some dragons.
Ex: on Wildclaw females its especially visible that the gene was more of a scribble job than the effort it looks like it took on faes or on coatls.
There's obvious gaps in the coloring - and there's something off about the gamma or something that causes color inconsistencies between genders - and the consistency of the quality between similarly winged species is horrid.

Here you can see color inconsistency near the edges of the wings, esp around the body connecting areas.
And some if it is aesthetic liiike

the smaller lower section of the female wildclaw's wing. There's some gaps scattered around but then there's some areas where it just looks like poor scribbling.
And some breeds seem to have been treated better than others.
Like the quality that went into coatls and faes is incredible, but many "bat-winged" dragons seem to have just gotten a quick draw over

Like this area of Nocturne males.
like..
there isnt much of an excuse for that.
And this is a gene that's supposed to be worth real money.
also the colors are Dust/Robin
