Forgetting all about his goal of finding tea ingredients in favor of helping this cold, hungry, and lonely creature, Oddi tucked them under his arm, and rushed to find food and shelter for the coming night. In the next few days, though Oddi searched for a clan of Miths that might have lost a young one, he was unable to find any Mith in the surrounding area. Oddi took the larva into his care, and named the Mith Nova. Oddi did his best to teach them, and as they grew, Nova quickly developed skills in Herbalism, Cookery, and Alchemy. When not learning or helping Oddi care for their favorite Afamiliars, Puffs, Nova spent their free time baking cookies. They seemed happy and their future seemed bright. Her tendency to slip around silently and watch dragons mill about has earned her the affectionate nickname "Little Ghost" by some, but the only name she actually responds to is "Promise," the name given to her by [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/49362139]Koilos[/url]. There are few dragons Promise truly feels comfortable around, with Koilos being at the top of the list; he's her best friend, and if she isn't wandering the clan or surrounding bamboo forest, she's usually following him around. Promise was thin and bony when she first appeared around the clan, her white colouration making it too difficult to hunt in a terrain dominated by green. It was desperation that drove the young Ferberus to dragon civilization. Despite her attempts at sneaking around to find something to eat, her luck within the walls of the clan was just as bad as it was outside of it -- that is, until dragons began leaving things out for her. Her white coat hadn't helped her hide from her prey, and it surely hadn't helped her hide from the many dragons she was attempting to steal from. She still refused to get too close, despite the many attempts from various dragons to pet her. It was only after one dragon in particular continued to leave food out for her without attempting to get closer that she eventually warmed up and took initiative to approach him instead. Though their pain wasn't exactly the same, both had suffered for their pure white colouration, and the two bonded very quickly. Nowadays, Promise tends to patrol the outskirts of the clan, meowing loudly until a dragon shows up if she finds anything "wrong" or potentially dangerous. She's brought attention to many security problems -- and even more completely harmless things, although the dragons of the clan appreciate the effort the white cat puts into trying to help. She also enjoys joining Koilos in his trips to study ghosts and the like, often noticing spirits before he can. She's not the smartest, and it's a miracle she survived so long before Latin found her and took her in to study the Tadhop's strange abilities. Canturio has seemingly no sense of self-preservation, and will stare a predator in the face with her permanent, derpy smile even as it opens its maw to eat her. She has this odd habit of disappearing when no one is looking though, often being found in places a frog should not be, such as on the roof of Latin's hut. Latin is almost certain it's some sort of teleportation, but Turi has never actually done it at a time Latin was watching or paying attention, so the definitive answer is inconclusive. Aside from possibly being able to teleport, Canturio can also seemingly sense things with her fluffy pair of antennae, make some of her markings shimmer and glow, eat just about anything, and stare vacantly at nothing for hours. Latin is utterly and entirely perplexed by strange Tadhop, especially as she can also sense an abundance of dormant magical energy inside the tiny frog, although why it's dormant and just how powerful Turi is is still a mystery. Somehow, this derpy frog that should really have been eaten by something already, might actually be more powerful than just about anything Latin had seen before. Good thing the Tadhop had no idea how to activate or probably even use whatever potential she has. Canturio absolutely loves Latin, and will often waddle around after her. To add to the frog's oddities, she rarely actually hops, seeming to prefer her weird waddling. She also chirps and chirrups, and is almost always perched atop Latin's roof whenever the Bogsneak isn't in her hut. She stares down and angrily chirps at any dragons who get close, which isn't very scary in itself, but most dragons are unsettled enough by Latin that they move on quickly anyway. Despite not caring about predators, Turi seems to like acting as a guard to Latin's abode whenever she isn't around to protect the hut herself. Two of his heads managed to wail almost like a crying Hatchling. His third head is much quieter, the meow from that one sounds almost like a broken squeaker. Thankfully what Wichien normally wants is a fuss and some company, so he's relatively easy to keep quiet."
