Mossberg

Having no purpose Mossburg wandered, and wandered, and wandered.

Until one day he stumbled into an orange dragon, Domini was with a small yellow baby mirror just on the edge of the driftwood drag and he hurried over to have another mirror jump out hissing so he stopped. But, upon inspection the two mirrors allowed him closer to the pup and her two friends. And the pup bit at his fins and pulled at them desiring to play. This was how Mossburg spent the day playing with a small mirror, guardian and Nocturne.

As the day turned into dusk and the darkness got even denser gloom willow guides lit up the inky black darkness, and Mossburg looked up as the yellow baby ran to the orange female, and she tilted her head back at him before leading the children away. Mossburg followed. Falling instep with the orange male that had jumped at him earlier, and then red ones, and a pink one, other darker ones like himself and they lead him home...

Months later Mossburg was given a special gift, laying among the Forum of the Obscured Crescent he was coated in the dark ink of Shadowbinder herself. Infused with the goop. As he climbed free it dripped and pooled at his feet, constantly. And the other dragons tilted their heads at him. Watching as Nox his chosen female stepped out, the same fluid crystalizing to her body, forming beautiful dark crystals that would fall just to regrow. Two others rose from the murk much the same.

Blessed with four eggs shortly after the odd bath in the Crescent the four pups were born blessed much the same, some with flowing shadow fluids that spread wherever they went, some turning it into beautiful crystals that even the light couldn't break.

They were blessed among the swarm...
